James is an excellent solicitor. His knowledge is first class and his calmness and pragmatism, made a difficult and drawn out (by the other side) process easier.
James not only listens, he hears and when I received letters to approve, he managed to perfectly articulate my sentiments in a way that I never could.
James is a realist and managed my expectations well, so that eventually we got the best result.
I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Made a difficult situation easy to understand

I was confused with what I needed to do and how to move forward. James explained the easiest route to take, so I followed the advise. James Heywood (Anthony Clapp) is a solicitor with extensive experience and this proved favourable in my case, as, based upon his recent experience with a client in a similar situation to mine, all of my financial settlement wishes were met, despite the likelihood that this would not occur. His guidance in the timely completion of all the necessary legal divorce documents at each stage of the process and before submission to the courts, whilst acting in my best interests at all times, proved to be entirely successful. He was friendly and approachable at all times, and gave a clear explanation of any legal-speak or terminology and always acted promptly in keeping me abreast of any changes or communications from my ex-wife's solicitors, and provided a clear monthly statement of monies owing for all legal services rendered.

In September 2021 I found myself in need of a solicitor,on recommendation I contacted the family law firm
Antony Clapp Solicitors and a meeting was arranged at their Maidstone office, it was at this meeting I met
Mr James Heywood, an experienced solicitor with many years to his credit and also to his credit he is a
nice fella, very easy to talk with but absolutely professional in his field, I was married when I met him, I am now divorced and have achieved the outcome I wanted, all thanks to James.
I would highly recommend this law firm and all of their staff Evey time. DT.
