In September 2021 I found myself in need of a solicitor,on recommendation I contacted the family law firm
Antony Clapp Solicitors and a meeting was arranged at their Maidstone office, it was at this meeting I met
Mr James Heywood, an experienced solicitor with many years to his credit and also to his credit he is a
nice fella, very easy to talk with but absolutely professional in his field, I was married when I met him, I am now divorced and have achieved the outcome I wanted, all thanks to James.
I would highly recommend this law firm and all of their staff Evey time. DT.

Brilliant service
James was excellent. He handled a difficult and often hostile and obstructive ex partner calmly and with utmost professionalism and a hint of steel when required. I would highly recommend his services.

Divorce proceedings
James Heywood (Anthony Clapp) is a solicitor with extensive experience and this proved favourable in my case, as, based upon his recent experience with a client in a similar situation to mine, all of my financial settlement wishes were met, despite the likelihood that this would not occur. His guidance in the timely completion of all the necessary legal divorce documents at each stage of the process and before submission to the courts, whilst acting in my best interests at all times, proved to be entirely successful. He was friendly and approachable at all times, and gave a clear explanation of any legal-speak or terminology and always acted promptly in keeping me abreast of any changes or communications from my ex-wife's solicitors, and provided a clear monthly statement of monies owing for all legal services rendered.

Divorce
Having established an earlier working relationship with James at his previous employer, I engaged his professional services for the matter of my divorce proceedings with him again, at his new employer.
He maintained a professional and dogged determination to get the job done from the start. I have been happy with the service provided, although Its been a frustrating 2 year period, through no fault of James's, but we got there eventually. Thank you.

James Heywood was excellent throughout
James Heywood was excellent throughout the divorce process and took a very pragmatic approach to bring the divorce to a successful conclusion. Unfortunately the other side were totally unreasonable in their demands throughout the entire process, but James was confident in where the case would ultimately settle and when the case progressed to an FDR the judge very much was in favour of the case James had built and it settled in line with expectations.
