Many thanks to Karen Gleed for showing professionalism, expert knowledge, kindness and understanding on my long house selling journey , especially when it involved two aborted sales before completion. During that time things were very stressful for my family (my mother's death and probate) and Karen always offered supportive professional advice to keep us going however busy she was , which was very much appreciated. I would highly recommend Karen Gleed and Hine Solicitors and would definitely use them again in the future. With her in our corner I kept believing things would work out fine, which they did!

Title: Unprofessional, Careless, and Only Interested in Getting Paid

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with this firm, and I can confidently say that their level of service was beyond disappointing. It became clear almost immediately that their primary goal was not to help or advise me properly, but simply to extract as much money as possible with as little effort as necessary.
The counsel provided was not only unprofessional but also shockingly careless. They seemed more concerned with billing hours than offering competent, meaningful advice. There was a complete lack of attention to detail, and when questions were asked, the responses were vague, disorganized, and at times, completely irrelevant. It felt as if they were going through the motions just to get paid, without any real investment in the outcome or in providing any kind of proper legal support.
What’s even more frustrating is that I was left feeling more confused and unsure after every interaction, rather than reassured or confident in the legal process. If you’re looking for a solicitor who will take your case seriously, listen to your concerns, and actually provide competent advice, look elsewhere. This firm’s only interest seemed to be lining their pockets, and they are absolutely not worth the fees they charge.
Avoid at all costs if you value competent legal representation.

I had two transactions with Hine over the last months, one of selling my residence and another to buy an investment property through a company. Both transactions were dealt with very professionally, thorough and with good input and advice. No chasing was necessary and I was kept up to date with developments, quick to answer any questions or concerns. Done other transactions over the last year with other solicitors - Hine solicitors was significantly better in all aspects. Very pleased with them!

Hine solicitors handled both our sale and purchase. The expertise was good and I found them efficient. My only feedback is on client relations skills. Even when we completed, I had a call saying, 'its done'.. no congratulations or thank you for working with us. And the follow-up emails were quite stark. I think this could be a really good firm with a focus on improving simple client relationship skills. This is a very stressful process for home owners with not a lot of certainty of dates to exchange or complete with the reliance on chains - some empathy and understanding would go along way to help alleviate the client in the process - especially since we are paying for the service.
