Southampton branch conveyanced a house purchase and were wholly unsatisfactory. Slow and error prone. Failed to take on board clear upfront instruction to do the prework to buy a house and a separate parcel of land. Went a lomg way down teack before it became clear they'd forgotten to work on the land parcel. Left all the enquiries until last minute despite clear instruction not to do so. Their response to all of this was to defend their particular way of working which clearly made their life easy at the expense of our timeline. Estate agent and mortgage company commented unilaterally to me how poor they were. To cap it all when I asked them a final post sale question about my deeds they ignored it and closed the file. We then sold a house and used the Chandlers Ford office of the same company. They were absolutely brilliant. Take home message - Warner Goodman have some great conveyancing teams and some under performing ones. We took chocolates in to the Chandlers Ford team and emailed to tell them how great they were. Lovely people in Southampton too but performance was very poor indeed.
