Personable, client-centric and efficient

Jane was able sit with us and talk through our requirements relating to some personal affairs. She was able to interpret the intent of what we wanted and offer some options to decide upon. She proactively engaged and communicated with us through every step of the process. Trusted. Reliable. Supportive.

Stress free sale

Gellhorns (Tim Rose) dealt with the sale of my mothers property for me, I have to say from the first phone call to enquire costs and service I was not disappointed at any point. I was slightly concerned mid way through where I had little communication, maybe 1 or 2 phone calls requesting some info; I then had an email updating me, I then saw many requests and confirmations below in the email, I saw that Tim Rose had just dealt with all aspects of the sale and didn’t trouble me with any of the problems that arose.
I am absolutely grateful and impressed with the way that Gellhorns dealt with the sale as I know there were some complications but Tim did not trouble me with any of it, I would absolutely recommend based on my own experience.
The cost was extremely good and service was way better than I could have expected. I would definitely use again.

Great solictor if you dont want any communication

Started off with a really positive experience, all staff were extremely helpful and always happy. As time went on and I wanted results (buying my first property) the communication went down hill fast. When calling up Gellhorn's and requesting a call back I would never receive one. It got to the point where I was so frustrated I couldn't talk to anyone that what should be a happy period of my life become a period of my life I wanted over because of the lack of response from Gellhorns. When I refer to lack of response, the only person I ever spoke to was the receptionist, who would pass on my request for a call back.

Later down the line I employ a new solicitor who discovered the land registry wasn't actually in my name and Gellhorns hadn't completed the work I paid them to do. Now to be fair to Gellhorns they claimed this delay was at fault of the Land Registry, but yet couldn't prove to me that they sent the correct documentation off at the time it should have been... To me shows they never carried out the service I paid for... Better yet, it's taken Gellhorns a WHOLE WEEK to finally pick up the phone to me after I have been calling them everyday. Its clear to me Gellhorns avoided all my communication until they had actually completed the land registry PROPERLY this time. Unacceptable.

I would never ever recommend this solicitor to anyone, if you pay for a service you at least expect it to be carry out correctly, better yet to be able to talk to someone when you need a question answered.
