Simon is incredibly professional, responsive and helpful. We had a smooth and stress free first time buying experience. He was very quick to respond to our queries, giving clear and concise answers. He remained very professional and helpful from start to finish, as well as being very polite which is a quality we were looking for in our chosen solicitor. The house buying process can be very stressful and with the help from Simon and his team at Clarke & Son, it helped to eliminate our stress and worry as we knew they had everything covered.

They go the extra mile!

Claire helped us out in an emergency and did exactly what we needed in a very delicate situation. I would recommend using her services not only as a solicitor but as a very compassionate human being. Yes its a business and they have to make money but Claire sees people which is a pretty rare these days!

The firm was founded by Spencer Clarke who first set up an office in Whitchurch, Hampshire. In 1959 Clarke & Son moved to offices in Basingstoke before moving to the current Manor House offices in 1981. The firm now has four partners and over 40 members of staff.
