Joke of a company. I'd make a better solicitor after spending 5 mins on Google. Absolutely shocking communication with myself and between the team at HCC.
Case has been ongoing for 4 years now. Endless months without response to my emails and without any updates at all. 2 solicitors have quit and I wasn't informed till I rang and the 3rd one couldn't be bothered to contact me and once he has (only because I chased this up), he couldn't be less "useful" if he tried.
I've been told A, B, C and D by same and different solicitors but suddenly someone changes their mind and it's X, Y and Z.
No handover at all between solicitors, nobody knows anything, they try and steal money from you by claiming more needs to be paid despite VERY CLEAR paperwork stating otherwise but until you argue it and point it out, they won't take notice of.
Complaints team is absolutely unprofessional too. Been told complaint can take 8 weeks to be dealt with. It's been approx 20 weeks and not a single response to my follow ups. Next step is Ombudsman so that's where I'll be going.
Absolutely awful company. Do not recommend them at all. Wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy.
(Oh and I have everything in black and white clear emails so it isn't just a random rant)
