Everything I wanted from my solicitor

E&K solicitors (Andrea Egan) dealt with my time-consuming case in very professional manner.

Despite the snail pace out of their control (freeholder and seller's solicitor very unresponsive from their constant follow-ups)
I was kept informed of progress.

A very thorough approach, which is what you want from solicitors. Every document was scrutinised and no stone left unturned. They made sure every query we raised was on the list until resolved.

I would definitely recommend and will use again when I need a solicitor.

Painless and always professional

I've dealt with quite a few conveyancing solicitors in the last few years and Andrea at E&K solicitor was one of the very best. We chose her to sell our property on the basis of her competitive rates, but I would recommend her strongly for high levels of service. Communication was excellent: mostly via email and in plain English. it was quite a complicated transaction but Andrea was able to inform, explain and advise at every juncture. Not once did we have to chase her (which has been my experience with other conveyancers), and usually a reply to my communication came back within minutes or hours, never days. Great levels of personal service that you just don't get with larger outfits when you're dealing with admin staff rather than the solicitor.

Truly dreadful - I’d recommend that you do not touch this company. Andrea made an error during a house move that caused the chain to stall. She then refused to apologize or speak to the families with young children that she left homeless for 2 nights. She has also refused to repay any expenses that were incurred by the poor families involved. Completely unprofessional. In my opinion you can do better....
