As I am deaf I rely on emails and text messages for communication as I cannot hear on the phone so have found the emails very helpful. The only problem was being an Oap and not technically minded and being sent the WSP App without proper explanation what it was being used for. I had been expecting the "paperwork" being sent by post for me to fill in the questionnaire so there was nearly a fortnight's delay before being told it was all being done on the App! I had to get my son to come over to download it for me.

Could not recommended WSP enough especially Rebecca Francis & Leanne Cooper who pushed through my house purchase. A huge thank you to Rebecca for the excellent communication, consistent updates & chasing the sellers solicitors to push my very slow purchase through to completion

Successful completion!
Leanne and her team were wonderful. They worked very quickly and efficiently, keeping me informed from start to finish in my house sale and purchase. They made a stressful process so much more manageable by their expertise and attention to detail. Their support was invaluable especially as I hadn’t moved for 30 years! I can’t thank them enough. I don’t intend on moving any time soon but, if I did, I would definitely want Leanne et al to be heading up my legal work. Thank you, Everyone!

If you are looking for a law firm to help make “Life less complicated” (their strap line!) then look no further than WSP solicitors. I can wholeheartedly recommend them.

Leanne has been absolutely fabulous. So efficient, helpful, knowledgeable and upbeat during my house buying saga.

I have already recommended WSP to a number of friends, as I have had exceptional service both selling and buying recent homes.

About this branch

Description

WSP Solicitors was established following the merger of three local firms that had been providing legal advice in Gloucestershire for more than two centuries: Winterbothams, A E Smith & Son and Penleys. Indeed, Penleys LLP was one of the oldest legal firms in the South West, having been established in Dursley by John Vizard in 1758. Family member William Vizard even acted for Queen Caroline when George IV tried to divorce her. Our heritage is important to us; one of our present solicitors is the great-grandson of Reginald Herbert Penley who retired from the firm in 1905. We still operate in the Cotswold towns of Stroud and Dursley. We also have a city office in the centre of Gloucester to allow us to support even more people across the county. Today, we pride ourselves on using our uncomplicated approach to help people from all walks of life with their personal and business legal affairs. Our ethos of making life less complicated applies to everything we do – including our fees. We’ll always be honest and upfront about our legal costs and give you a fixed estimate before we act on your behalf. We’ll provide regular fee updates and never incur additional charges without your authority. And if your transaction goes particularly smoothly (and less time is spent on it than we initially envisaged) we’ll even lower your bill. What could be simpler than that?
