Shambles of a company

An absolute shambles of a company. We used these as they were the appointed conveyancer that came with FREE legals on our remortgage.

Unfortunately, we have pretty much had to it all ourselves. I'm unsure what these actually do apart from sending thousands of automated emails asking for documents which you have already provided.

I spoke with a lady named Kat who I found extremely rude and arrogant.

All of their paperwork that they provide is difficult to fill out and their communication is really poor.

Save yourself time, find a good solicitor, these are unprofessional and arrogant!

Rarely ever review - so bad I have to.

Has taken over 6 months to get my Remortgage with these awful people. I have only given positive reviews in the past, but this company are rude and VERY unhelpful. Still not resolved and can be patronising with emails, not helpinh and expecting me to know their work (I'm not a solicitor). Plus they messed up ky initial remorgage and i needed to find another deal.

Truly awful, please don't give them business.

My experience was good

When reading these reviews you must bear in mind that it’s those with the worst experiences who are most likely to take the time and effort to leave a review. As my experience was so different to most posted here, I thought it only fair to provide a little balance.

My case was handled without any significant issues. Yes, a little prod was required at first to get things moving at the pace I wanted, but all emails were responded to well within 24 hours. Their online portal was also a very helpful tool to keep track of the case.

Unbelievably bad - shame on Nationwide for using them

So disappointed Nationwide use them as the third party for their mortgage applications.

I couldn't have imagined any organisation in that capacity could be this bad. Six months later, endless returns of forms that have already been approved by an independent lawyer, and now a claim for me to purchase insurance or they won't continue with the application. Sent after the office closed on a Friday, and the handler is on holiday for the next 10 days.

Withdrawing my Nationwide application due to this and going with another bank.

The best part of our Home purchasing experience!

Reading the two reviews prior to this and am surprised to see the responses! As a first time buyer, Your Conveyancer have been the easiest part about buying our flat. We had some real issues with our mortgage which resulted in a bit of bumpy start to our purchase, however your Conveyancer really helped along the way - updating forms as we went along etc. due to our mortgage issues, when we finally did get accepted this meant that your Conveyancer were on an even tighter time frame to get things tied up as there was a clear entry date set by the seller and I can't thank them enough for making the process pain free.

The only thing I would comment on is that I was contacted by a couple of different people which did make me worried who my case was with, but due to Covid times and home working etc I don't think this could have been much approved as it was more a sign of the times!

A big thank you to Rebecca McNab as when I first got in touch with Your Converyancer I really didn't know what I was doing as a first time buyer, she was very friendly and made me feel more at ease with the process! And a thank you to Kieran Reilly for keeping me right for getting all my documents tied up!

Thank you!

Avoid.....

Had a bad experience dealing with this company. We were told through Purplebricks this is who we would have to use. Nightmare from beginning to end. Same goes for Purplebricks. I had more e mails from Purplebricks advising of their staff leaving and someone new taking over the case than anything else. Your conveyancer not any better. Agreed sale of house in November, should have been straightforward as a cash sale. Delays in communication between your conveyancer and purchasers solicitors. Had to get copy of a death certificate which your conveyancer already had in their possession which also took time. Eventually when we came to the close of contracts in March they decided to inform me there was a problem with the plans (they admitted they knew about this in early December but didn’t follow up on it) and wanted me to contact our neighbours solicitor regarding his plans and we would have to pay all costs. Considering the time it took for them to tell us 3 months were wasted. We decided we had wasted enough time with this shambles of a company and moved on. We are out of pocket of quite a sum of money as we still had to pay Purplebricks and your conveyancer but have learned a valuable lesson and are dealing with professionals now who know what they are doing

Abysmal Company... Avoid no matter what!

Remortaged our property and started the process in March for completion in September! Unfortunately Your Conveyancer were appointed by our lender HSBC. Entire process from start to finish was was painful with a completely incompetent case handler who had no communication skills or the ability to save documents or inform us how the case was progressing. We had to constantly chase them to find out what was going on and the week before we were meant to complete we were told everything was in order ready for completion. On the day of completion we received an email to say that the completion hadn't gone through as various documents were missing and our case handler had gone on holiday. Thankfully managed to get hold of someone in the office who confirmed that the remortgage could never have progressed that day as they were a lot of missing documents despite us having submitted these documents and having been told everything was in order. As we were out of our fixed rate mortgage with old lender we then had to pay a mortgage payment at a higher cost and also risked a default on our credit rating.
Finally managed to complete and have raised a complaint to the Operations Director who said she would review our case.... 2 weeks later and several chase emails to her and no response from the company.

And to think these jokers expect you to pay for their service!
