Statutory declaration

I recently used TG Collins for a statutory declaration and was amazed by their professionalism.

I regret not having used them for property conveyancing and other legal matters.

I would highly recommend them as a trustworthy and reliable local solicitors.

The best, professional, and personable

We have the luck of dealing personally with Thushara. This solicitor is on the ball, her work is fast, efficient and she listens to us. All solicitors are busy at the moment, so there is not always an immediate response, but you can be sure the work is being done in a timely fashion. I am about to use these solicitors for the sale of a second house. We also had dealings with Thomas, another highly efficient and professional individual.

Would give zero stars if I could

Would give zero stars if I could. Shocked at how appalling the service was. Took over a year to get to final completion. Pros: cheap. Cons: 1. Not pro-active. Nothing moved without me chasing it. On chasing was told yes we are doing something and when asked for a copy of correspondence was sent e-mails timed after my initial chasing call/e-mail had been made. 2. Unprofessional - buyers enquiries were sent to the wrong parties and this only got corrected after I had found this out and put them straight. 3. Blame shifting - was constantly told that the delays were all due to the other party without evidence to back this up. Without such evidence I suspect this was to cover their own mistakes and lack of action. 4. Avoidance - when trying to chase I was frequently told my solicitor was unavailable and rarely got phoned back without me chasing further. Suspect this was a difficult case for them but I am not an unreasonable person and would have welcomed an honest dialogue with them. Was frequently left feeling they would tell me anything just to get me off the phone. Would never use this company again.
Update - I can confirm that I have now spoken to Thushara and I am content that she has understood the points I have made and has undertaken to address these.

Avoid for conveyancing

I hired this company for the sale of a house and at the end it did not happen with them. I can not really blame this company for the failure of the sell but there were extremely slow in my opinion.
I would reccomend anyone who is selling that selling a house is not a sure thing so it is better to try to find a no sell no fee conveyancing firm.
The reason my experience was Awful was because when I told the Junior solicitor who was handling my case that they were extremely slow and I got nothing for what i was paying he became extremely upset and unproffesional and even told me in an e-mail that they would charge me for the time it took him to reply to my e-mail.
My e-mail was an obious complain so I was not charge extra at the end because I guess they realised that would have been a big mistake.
I the end I asked for the bill and paid. That was over a week ago and despite having asked for a receipt twice they have not send that to me.
I copied in all e-mails the solicitor and owner of the company and she never intervened she just let the junior solicitor abuse of the power solicitors in general have. So in conclusion avoid this company it is not pleasent to be treated like this by a service company who are also solicitors. It felt like I had no option but to pay and then find another solicitor to sell my house spending more that i forecasted.
