Very Helpful

I called up to ask for some advice about a resolution dispute over an expensive purchase i believed i could have refunded. I didn't have to wait on the phone at all, was met with warmth and professionalism and was immediately passed to the appropriate member of staff. Free of charge, the advisor, Richard, listened to all my concerns and took a few key details. Without any sense of judgement, he gave me his opinion as a professional then advice on next steps, and explained clearly all the options he could see as open to me in my current situation. He also suggested links and options to explore that didn't require paying for legal fees and services.

Overall a very helpful, reassuring experience.

Excellent help and assistance

I would just like to say how helpful Richard Chapman at Eastbourne offices has been. I feel so much more confident about my case now and would like to say thank you once again for the advice he gave me.

I appreciate that this advice will be disappointing, you are entitled

After them making mistake in my representation they have asked me to discontinue the claim. After I have asked to be compensated for any loss as result of poor advice they have returned with apology and no compensation offered. Also they have dropped me as a client after I suggested that I will look for legal advice on to a making a claim against them for all their unprofessionalism and lack of knowledge.
My experience is that they are not to be trusted.
Helix Law is a firm to stay away from.

We owe everything to Helix Law

Ours was a long, complex property dispute which involved a life-altering sum of money. Alex’s specialist commercial and property litigation experience has brought about an EXCEPTIONAL win for us which, in part, I would put down to Alex’s prodigious skill in negotiation and mediation.

Despite being pitched against a very ‘challenging’ and difficult adversary, Alex maintained his astute pressure on our opponent to mediate, while steering us through the minefield of carefully orchestrated settlement offers that proved vital to our success in Court.

Through what was undeniably the most difficult 4 1/2 years of our lives, we found Alex and his colleague, Richard, unfalteringly patient and dedicated - always willing to explain the nuances of our legal argument. Whenever in receipt of some fallacious ‘war of words’ from our opponent’s solicitors, we were always heartened by the crucifying superior response that was immediately crafted by either Alex or Richard.

It was also a joy to observe a Judge’s own reliance in Court of Richard’s meticulous control of the sheer volume of paperwork that he had distilled into something manageable and logical.

Whilst always remaining mindful of costs, Helix were never afraid to pull in Counsel where needed and, ultimately, this teamwork led to a strategic and successful outcome for us.

Timely and useful advice

I needed some advice on whether to contest a claim or settle out of court. Helix and Chris Smith were very helpful, as they got back to me within the day and provided useful advice at no cost. They recognised that I was not seeking a formal consultation at this stage, so unlike other solicitors they did not withhold generic advice for the sake of charging a consultation fee.

#neveragain

Everything was too much trouble when it came to my case for this firm.
I was palmed off with a trainee most of the time.
On more than one occasion I found out information pertaining to my year-long battle to evict my tenant before they did.
I would definitely not recommend this company.

So helpfull

I called Helix Solicitors today asking for some advice on correctly filling out a Directions Questionnaire form. I was passed onto an appropriate member of the team to advise or assist me. I was transferred to Bianca who was so professional and extremely helpful. Bianca took the worry out of filling out the form, thank you so very much. I would highly recommend Helix Law.
