Mixed experience, staff polite but process seemed to drag

We have recently sold and purchased a property both us as sellers and the people we purchased from used the same firm.

Throughout the process Natasha and the other staff were polite and professional. Paper was sent and received with no issues.

I think on reflection my frustration has been the length of time to complete (20ish weeks) and the endless attempts to follow and chase up to establish were we were at in the process. I had convinced myself a number of times that parties had backed out, when in the fact it seems they were in the same position as us.

A job well done..

Paul Harrison is my kind of solicitor, to the point and able to navigate us through the miles of red tape in both selling and buying a property.

Professional Solicitors with first class service

Natasha Ayers dealt with both the sale of my property and the purchase of my new property. The communication was fantastic and I cannot fault her professionalism and the service she provided. I was kept informed and up to date with proceedings at every step of the way with clear instructions. The conveyancing for both properties was handled efficiently and with timely responses. They are a friendly approachable firm of Solicitors and nothing was too much trouble for Natasha and her team and I can fully recommend her service and Jane Brooks Law overall and I will not hesitate to use them again. Thank you Natasha.

Relieved to have finished dealing with this company. Terrible communicators, always having to chase for updates. Very poor quality paperwork/instructions sent out. Even up to completion we had to keep asking for updates. Left documents till the last day of completion before requesting them, even though they had had them for a week and been asked if everything was ok. Transferred funds with no completion statement so we didn't understand the final amount. Do not use Jane Brooks Law they struggle with conveyance god knows what they would be like with anything else.

Typical solicitors. Friendly and helpful up to the point they’ve been paid and then difficult to get a reply from and unhelpful in resolving issues. Wouldn’t use again
