On my previous review I gave this company what was then a substandard review which was now completely unfair on reflection. At the time it was upsetting but was rectified shortly after way above what one would expect. Perhaps a lesson in life not to judge situations too quickly.

After consulting the CAB, having had a couple of meetings with an Adviser, (face to face),
I decided that this problem was never going to be resolved without going legal. I had had considerable stress ,because of this totally 'trumped up' bill, issued by a Home Care Agency whose services I used during the early part of last year and when I advised them I wanted to seek help from a local Care Agency, I was presented with a huge bill, which was basically in lieu of a month's notice.
I was pretty sure that I had not signed their 'Terms or Conditions' and despite their protests to the contrary - when asked to prove this, their Director was not able to produce a single shred of evidence.
l asked the Director to send me proof of signature and she failed to do this over a period of nine months - this whole situation was very stressful as my husband was seriously ill and eventually sadly passed away.
By going to H G Walker, and consulting their Litigation Solicitor, he took on the case, suggesting that should there be no evidence, he could negotiate to offer just a small amount to the Agency.
We did this and I eventually offered just £500 - with H G Walker's legal fees, this course of action saved me over £3,800. Thank you HGW,

Simon Nethercott is absolutely brilliant. He is clever, efficient, fast, communicates with his clients, gets things done properly and on time. He is not at all condescending but very down to earth and puts himself out to get the best result for the client. His team are also welcoming, friendly and helpful and get all the correspondence out so quickly. I would not use anyone else for a commercial sale/purchase. If you are looking for a commercial solicitor this is the one you need. I can thoroughly recommend Simon and the firm Harold G Walker, they clearly have an ethos of putting clients first as well a a happy workforce.
