Sale of company

With only 4 weeks to go before the budget I contacted Nash and Co, and was put in touch with Talek to assist in the sale of my shares. Talek was brilliant, professional, polite and quick to respond. He managed to get the deal over the line with a day to spare and within the agreed budget. I would highly recommend Nash and Co and specifially Talek, we will be using their services again!

Outstanding Support and Expertise

I recently worked with Chelsea at Nash & Co for a family law matter, and I couldn't be more impressed with the level of service and expertise she provided. From the very beginning, Chelsea demonstrated a deep understanding of the complexities involved in custody and visitation issues, offering clear and strategic advice that consistently prioritised the best interests of my child.

Chelsea’s communication throughout the process was exceptional—prompt, professional, and always attentive to my concerns. She took the time to explain every step in detail, ensuring I was fully informed and confident in the decisions we made together.

What truly stood out was Chelsea’s ability to handle sensitive issues with both compassion and a firm grasp of the legal principles involved. She was not just focused on winning, but on achieving an outcome that was fair, sustainable, and in the best interests of my child.

I would highly recommend Chelsea at Nash & Co to anyone facing family law challenges. Her expertise, combined with a genuine commitment to her clients, makes her a standout solicitor in this field.

Review update - 5 Stars

If I have been impressed with a business I do take the time to write a review but only the one.
I am so impressed with the consistently high level of service I have received from Nash & Co that I am now submitting my third review!
Over the years I have used Nash & Co for Wills, probate, selling a house, buying a house, selling my shares in a business and most recently, inheritance.
In particular, I would highly recommend David Cornelius and Amy Douch. Their professionalism, knowledge, skill, interest, friendliness plus availability is outstanding. At no time have I felt hurried and I have always felt confident to ask for clarification when things were not clear to me.
As I previously wrote, this is my third review and I have taken time to write it because I wanted to highlight the consistently high standard of service - thank you David and Amy.
When I use Nash & Co I am confident that my matter is in the best (and safe) hands. (I am not related to any member of staff!)

Kearney, I wish to place on record my sincere thanks to you and Austin Blackburn for your professional help, and for keeping me well informed as to the progress. At the time of Margaret’s death it would have been very difficult for me to have undertaken a fuller role as executor. I have previously undertaken the role of executor, and have a pretty good idea of much of what is involved. Throughout the whole process, I have been most impressed with the work you and Austin have carried out.

Help with family Trust following demise of McClures (Glasgow)

Absolutely first class advice and guidance on family trust and title deed of house. This follows the failure of McClures solicitors in 2021, leaving thousands of McClures clients in distress. Excellent and speedy service at a really reasonable fee. (I know this as I have spent considerable time researching service and costs from other solicitors, before choosing Nash & Co.).

Excellent, full-service solicitor experience

My family have used Nash since c. 2003, and during those few decades I've become a full customer, taking care of all my personal and business legal needs. Running a small business has required the services of legal experts who not only understand how the law works, but can see the company through the eyes of those it deals with. I've had to navigate issues like holding companies, share buy-backs, due diligence, litigation, human resources cases, and a number of personal / domestic matters. I've always felt very well supported and by knowledgeable professionals who are always accessible. I look forward to continuing to use Nash & Co going forwards, confident of excellent services.

Family Protection Trust

After a serious fall where I realised my mother would need some care for the foreseeable future, I took a look at documents relating to a Family Trust both my parents set up a number of years prior. After making some further enquiries, I was shocked to find that that McClures the solicitors they had used to create this Trust had gone into administration some years prior. Not knowing how my mother stood legally
( sadly dad no longer with us), I began to complete some research and came across Amy Douch at Nash& Co,who had clearly helped another client in the same position some time earlier. Having contacted Amy and after discussing our predicament, she emailed me a clear outline of what needed doing and the associated costs. She also kindly guided us to what parts of the process we might complete ourselves to minimise costs. We are now nearing the end of the process. I have had my faith restored in solicitors. Amy has answered all of our questions promptly, kept us fully informed as the process took place, and has completed the task promptly and professionally. I would certainly use Amy again and recommend her to anyone who finds themself in this ghastly predicament.
Thank you Amy!

Amy Douch has acted as our solicitor for my mum and step-father’s trusts which had been set up by McClures who had gone into administration. She was so helpful in navigating this for us. We always felt we were being supported and understood at all times. Would highly recommend using her and / or Nash & Co Solicitors.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Amy Paterson and her fantastic team; James, Amanda and Bethany for all their hard-work and support in purchasing my first home!

Amy had come highly recommended as a conveyancing solicitor by a local surveyor I’d been working with, and I couldn’t be more thankful.

Amy is diligent, thorough and offers excellent advice and support when facing challenging decisions. Emails and calls were returned in a matter of hours, if not immediately!

I can’t thank the team enough for making the conveyancing experience as stress-free as possible and helping me navigate the natural obstacles when purchasing a property.

I couldn’t recommend the team enough!

My family recently worked with Nash & Co Solicitors, and honestly, I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Right from the first call, they made us feel like they genuinely cared about my case and to get the best outcome for my mother. They took the time to listen and understand what I and my mother needed, which made a huge difference in easing my worries and making the process as quick as possible.

My family and I would highly recommend Nash & Co to anyone looking for solid legal support. Although we used them for property transfer as my mother is in care, they are knowledgable and well versed in all aspects. They’re not just good at what they do—they’re also genuinely supportive, which is rare to find.

Eleanor and her team were absolutely excellent in handling the financial settlement relating to my divorce. As a senior lawyer myself I have high standards and some understanding of the process. Eleanor and her colleagues could not have been more supportive, professional or responsive.

I was particularly impressed by:
- the consistently pragmatic, sensible and realistic advice. This really helped me to manage my expectations around the outcome. Eleanor's advice was always communicated sensitively and clearly but in a very human way. This is a real skill;
- the fees were extremely reasonable with very competitive charge out rates; and
- the organisation and speed of the team when asked to prepare for an FDR at short notice.

I would not hesitate to recommend Eleanor and her team to anyone looking for support with the very difficult situations that arise from separation and the breakdown of a family.
