BREACH OF DATA PROTECTION

A.Gowans was asked to post out a will to the person who had drawn it up with him and who had paid for it. Over two months passed, nothing ! Called up to find out where the Will was to find out they’d emailed a confidential Will to a family member. This was a huge breach of data protection, now the Will is known to family members. Clearly the staff have absolutely no idea about data protection. I am disgusted by this firm.

Disgusting.... called my deceased mother my aunt in a meeting.
Called my mum my grandmother in a letter... no information posted to the beneficiary’s. Allowed variation of deeds.... contact was to one executor only without written permission from others. Was prepared to allow the sale of a property from the estate to an executor without a valuation and without agreement from other executors. This has caused a family to fall out due to his negligence and I will be taking this further.
