Appalling communication
I used them for a land purchase. First time I had ever done this, Hibberts solicitor Oliver Lewis failed to communicate effectively with me on what to expect, the processes and the costs from the outset. There seemed to be little interest in responding to my phone calls and questions. When I got frustrated, pulled out of the purchase, and complained about the way he had managed the communication, the team closed ranks - despite earlier admissions by one of the partners that the communication had been poor.
All it needed was regular communication to avoid misunderstandings - but it appeared to be just a case of going through the routine motions rather than engaging with me as a customer. Unimpressed and wouldn't recommend Hibberts,.
