Fantastic experience

This was the second time I used Barr Ellison for conveyancing. I came back to them because they were fantastic the first time, and they were great again. Tracey was approachable, proactive, and knowledgeable. She handled my very unresponsive buyers solicitors well, without her I don't think my sale and purchase would have gone through.

Mellars - Court of Protection and House Clearance

We, family and friends have a task to employ a Solicitor to arrange Deputyship for my late cousin's widow now in care and to sort and empty their home ready for sale. The whole task is complex, but Mel has been invaluable in corresponding with us all and other parties to enable this to happen. We have had many communications from Mel and have met her on site at the house. She is concise in her communications and professionally friendly when we met.
I could just about tick all the boxes below, but I am not the only one messaging and telephoning, so give my personal opinion.
Not living in Cambridge, I am unlikely to use the Practice again, but could recommend to others nearby.
Value for money - I don't know as I don't know how much it costs. The final payment will be paid from the Estate of my cousin and his widow's funds. I will not be involved.
As the matter is not yet completed, I cannot complete the 'satisfaction'. I am definitely satisfied so far with all that has been done for us. I have to answer as the form cannot be submitted without one, so have answered to the affirmative.
I have been extremely happy with all communications from all the professionals I have dealt with so far. It is not quite finished.

From the very first phone conversation through to the last, and in all our meetings, Mel has been an absolute pleasure to deal with, reassuring me at every stage of the process with her professionalism, re-balancing my anxiety about some difficult matters by bringing perspective, focus and clarity that was most appropriate at specific times during the process. At times when we needed to act quickly and efficiently, Mel was amazing and clearly understood the level of my ability to move swiftly with her, so that expectations of each other's abilities were fully supported and efficiently actionable.

Fantastic service from true professionals

Tracey and team were fantastic. Diligent, thorough, attentive and communicative. Our house purchase had a number of conditions that Tracey had the experience and expertise to manage and ensure we weren't put at risk through the process. Mark Copley pursued my claim to a successful conclusion after four and a half years.

You are a very special person and I have been exceptionally fortunate to have your support.

Emma, I scarcely know where to start in thanking you and Barr Ellison for the way you have supported and helped me through one of the most difficult periods of my life. I think that wuthout your empathy and understanding, coming to terms with my life adter the accident, learning to adapt to new circumstances and being able to look forwards to the future positively would almost certainly not have happened. Fantastic throughout my claim

Daryl Robinson has been fantastic throughout my claim. Knowing that I had someone this good in my corner while I was recovering from my injury was so reassuring. He fought hard for a good settlement, and secured compensation that I felt was fair. At the same time, he's very reassuring and calm, as well as efficient and well organised - all the things you need in a very stressful situation. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Emma Hunt at Barr Ellison handled our conveyancing this year and I recommend her unhesitatingly. She was efficient, effective and always responsive. I felt completely in safe hands and it was an almost painless process, despite living overseas with the complications of different time zones.
