Woodfines / sale of our Dad's house

We very recently completed on the sale of our Dad's house and worked with Genevieve Carnell throughout the process. Genevieve remained calm, professional and, above all, kind throughout. My sister and I were selling our Dad's house through EPA and via a private sale so, whilst it was a relatively smooth process, Genevieve was always at hand to guide us and offer practical advice. She's a great asset to Woodfines and I feel sure she has a wonderful future ahead of her. I'd like to wish her every success in her career and would have no hesitation in recommending Woodfines, and especially Genevieve, to anyone in the Milton Keynes area.

Bringing our will into 21st Century

Rebecca quickly understood what we were looking to do and talked us through the decisions we needed to make to achieve our aims. Checked in with us whilst we were procrastinating over a couple of bits but without being pushy.
Everything was handled in a professional and friendly manner.
Would have no hesitation in recommending to others looking for a similar service.

Great service

I needed to update my will and approached Woodfines, as they had been highly efficient in sorting out my late father's affairs after he died in 2022.
The service was quick and easy from start to finish.

Peace of mind

I had complete confidence in contacting Woodfines who have been our solicitors for many years. Previously had LPA's & Wills prepared for my late husband and I, so naturally came to them for my own needs following the loss of my husband in 2022. My experience has been one of total understanding and caring, professional in approach with efficiency and effectiveness in every way, giving me peace of mind. To Woodfines thanks you.

I just want to say 'thank you' for the very efficient way that Helen Simpson and her trainee handled my case. They were very friendly and put me totally at ease, explaining everything in a way that I could understand.

Disgusting customer service. I call asking for advice. As soon as I said I was a tenant and wasn’t a home owner they shut me down. Wouldn’t help me at all or let me explain why I needed advice. They just assuming I could afford legal fees. They put the phone down on me. If I’ve never been treated so badly I could give 0 stars I would.

Woodfines, were highly recommended by the estate agents and I can see why. Everything was done professionally and timely all the Team have totally took the stress out of helping with the purchase of a commercial building, with difficulties such as initial investor puling out in the last minute. I knew exactly what paperwork they required and all the important documents have all been returned very promptly.
All communications at high level in a very efficient manner, with them looking for our interest at best in liaising with all stakeholders.
A Big thank you to Woodfines Solicitors for all your help on the purchase we have completed recently! Highly recommended!

NO, I do not recommend for conveyancing.
They have caused so much stress, they rarely answer calls or call back. They are rude when they do and are doing basic conveyancing long after you are supposed to have exchanged. Risking a complete collapse of a house sale through their own incompetence.
