Dealt with the same person over several years with a tricky sale of a listed office building in Reading. Blandy & Blandy made that process easier as they just worked through all the hurdles for us. Highly recommended.

First registration of titles

Blandy & Blandy was recommended to us to assist us in obtaining the first registration of two titles for two chariites which share a common history going back to the 15C and are on adjacent plots.
Our cases were taken on by Partner Ms Kaja Wigham. Katja and her team were superb. Both charities had waited for over fifty years to obtain the first registrations. The completion of the process was an historic moment in the history of both charities, The Stow on the Wold Almshouse Charity and St Edward's Church Hall fund. We shall, forever, be indebted to Katja.

Seeking advice on family settlement

Blandy and Blandy the firm and in particular the senior family lawyer we saw offer an excellent and sympathetic service and high level-professional advice. We were listened to carefully and all aspects of our case were carefully considered.

The only reason this is not a five star review is the cost which exceeded the budget we put aside to resolve our matter.

Fast response

Today I had to get documents accredited by a solicitor and Elizabeth Short turned it around in less than an hour. This has allowed my daughter to get her remortgage sorted out..... I hope. Elizabeth has been professional throughout my dealings with her and she has explained all options in simple terms.

Leasehold property purchase

Manisha from Blandy & Blandy provided me (FTB) with excellent conveyancing service for my share of freehold purchase. As a first-time buyer I have few comparisons to make, but I was really happy with the clarity of what was needed from me when and with Manisha's responsiveness to all of my questions including those with a bit of first-time-buyer paranoia sprinkled on top. I would happily recommend Manisha and the conveyancing team at Blandy & Blandy in Reading.

6 star service

I would have given a 6 star if it was available. Blandy and Blandy did not only provide the service. They supported me all the way through my divorce process. Everyone was very professional. However, I must say Claire Clarke was absolutely amazing and she sure is an asset to the organisation.

I cannot thank Andrea at Blandy & Blandy enough for her incredible support over the last few months. Facing redundancy while on maternity leave was already daunting, but it quickly became even more challenging as I navigated the demands of an 8-week-old baby, childcare, and a difficult redundancy process. On top of that, my mum received a terminal diagnosis, making this a very hard period.

Throughout it all, Andrea helped ease the stress, enabling me to deal with the pressure and deadlines imposed by the process and allowing me to focus on my family. From the very first call—when I was asked to attend a meeting at short-notice —Andrea reassured me that I had control over the process. When I was dealing with discussions over my proposed redundancy; Andrea gave me the confidence to stand my ground, knowing I had both backup and someone firmly on my side. That support was invaluable. Knowing Andrea was there to step in as much or as little as needed gave me such peace of mind while I was juggling a newborn and everything else life was throwing at me.

Her level-headed approach helped to de-escalate the situation and guide me towards the best outcome. I truly cannot recommend Andrea highly enough—her expertise, empathy, and unwavering support made all the difference.

I recently used Blandy & Blandy for the sale of my property and I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. What initially felt like a daunting process was made much smoother by Karen Pratt, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was handled efficiently. She was always prompt in responding to any queries and kept me well informed of any updates or issues throughout. Her guidance and support was invaluable and I truly felt in self hands from start to finish. I couldn’t have asked for a better service and highly recommend Blandy & Blandy.
