Karen was our conveyancer for a challenging property purchase and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Responses were very fast, communication clear and every detail was looked into meticulously. Karen is very professional and set me at ease with her knowledge and attention to detail. Thank you Karen to you and the team, we will be in touch again no doubt.

(1) Initial correspondence consisted on numerous PDF documents that could not be completed on-line. Each one had to be printed out, completed with pen and ink, packaged up and taken to a post office to be sent by the signed for service. This is 2024 not 1924!!

(2) The process started in July 2024. Numerous documents were received which required my review but all were sent together towards the end of the process in October 2024 (even though one of the documents was dated August 2024) placing me under significant time pressure to review the documents in time to meet the proposed completion date.

Other than the above, Natasha Hood was always very patient in explaining certain legal issues and in general was contactable and did return calls although on one occasion I did receive a message saying her mail box was full.

Excellent Service

I recently had the pleasure of working with Blandy & Blandy on my surrogacy case, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Claire Dyer, my solicitor, was simply outstanding. From our very first meeting, Claire demonstrated an impressive combination of professionalism, empathy, and expertise, making an inherently complex process feel manageable.

Claire's attention to detail was remarkable, ensuring that every aspect of my case was thoroughly examined and understood. She communicated clearly and effectively, keeping me informed at every stage and patiently answering all my questions, no matter how small. Her deep understanding of surrogacy law and compassionate approach made a significant difference in my experience, allowing me to navigate this emotional journey with confidence.

Moreover, the support from the entire Blandy & Blandy team was excellent. They provided timely responses and made sure that I felt supported throughout the entire process. I felt like I was in very capable hands, and that reassurance was invaluable.

Overall, my experience with Blandy & Blandy and Claire Dyer has been exemplary. I am incredibly grateful for their support and expertise, and I would recommend them to anyone seeking legal assistance in surrogacy matters. They truly made a difference in my journey to parenthood!

Many aspects to recommend this team. Some elements felt robotic. Overall, would recommend for routine/uncontentious matters.

Fantastic experience

I was a first time buyer and so knew very little about the house-buying process, and Karen was fantastic throughout. From the first time we spoke she showed genuine interest in the property I was buying, and throughout she was always available, replying to emails quickly and answering the phone. She always had my best interests at heart and represented me well to ensure a lease extension was properly done. It's hard to choose a solicitor as there are so many out there, but I hope this recommendation helps someone to choose. I couldn't recommend Karen / Blandy & Blandy more.

House Purchase

Karen Pratt was very helpful, informative & quick to respond to any query, whether by phone or email.
We had a few issues with the sellers estate agent, however, Karen soon dealt with these for us.
Overall she was always there if we needed an answer & we would have no hesitation in coming back to Karen in the future.
Thank you Karen once again for your excellent service.
