I would highly recommend Batchelor Sharp to represent you in selling or buying a property. I had the pleasure in working with Jackie Curtis and her team, in particular Louise and Kieran. They are professional, kind, understanding and the best bit was having brilliant communication from them. They ensured I understood every aspect of the sell and then my purchase and was there to talk when I needed to go over things. I sold my flat at auction so it was very confusing at first but Jackie helped me understand it all and couldn't have been nicer. Also with my purchase I was buying over the bridge in Wales so she ensured I understood any difference in rules and put together very detailed reports on all aspects. Very reasonable in pricing and a pleasure to speak to.

It is 8 weeks since you completed on the sale of Ridgeway Lane and purchase Leda Avenue for us. My how time flies. I wanted to express my thanks for the assistance you gave us during what could have been a very fraught time. You were courteous and helpful, when we called, explaining procedures that had to be followed and what stage you had reached with them. You were always happy to look in to any queries we raised and answer any questions we had. Given the exceptionally hard times we were all living through with COVID 19 and the heavy workload you must have had to handle, we believe you offered an excellent service. We didn’t agree on the purchase of our house until 2nd April and completed on 10th June so just shy of 10 weeks, which is more than acceptable, particularly when I know of houses sold long before ours, which are still nowhere near completion. All I can say is I wish the move had gone as well - but that’s a whole new chapter!

Is it possible for us to go on a waiting list? As we're yet to find anywhere ourselves I don't think the hold up in us supplying our Solicitor details will be too much inconvenience. The estate agent said that could take up to a month for people to supply these details anyway. We had such a positive experience last time with Ann I don't think we want to use anyone else. I have recently made a first time purchase of a flat, and chose Batchelor Sharp as my solicitor. Jackie was appointed as my solicitor and from the first contact onwards throughout the whole process Jackie and her team have been absolutely brilliant. They are professional and responsive, thorough, and enabled the whole process to happen as quickly as possible and met my optimistic deadline (in fact we were all ready with time to spare, and waiting on the sellers solicitors instead!).

We moved during an extremely pressurised time for the housing market with the stamp duty holiday coming to an end. With many other parties reacting badly to the stressful situation and emotions running high– Ann was the port in the storm. Acting calmly and efficiently with all of the stakeholders and with no request from us too much – we were able to rely on the team throughout and cannot recommend them enough.

Batchelor Sharp represented my mother in the selling of her property and the purchase of a retirement home. I cannot praise Jackie Curtis and her entire team highly enough. They were communicative, helpful and always delivered what they promised on time.

Up against end of stamp duty holiday at the time of appointment in mid february, request was completion by 31st March or the house purchase would be to expensive to complete on. Re instatement of stamp duty holiday was extended the house purchase process was not, both teams continued just in case!! We collected the keys 31st March 12.30pm. Ann and her team were brilliant 6 weeks to complete whole process. I know they worked extremely hard with sellers and their solicitors and ourselves to make it happen. So i it can be done with the right team!!! Superb job guys and thank you, enjoy the Bank Holiday!!

I didn't know solicitors could be so proactive and communicative as this hadn't been my experience before. They worked extremely hard to get my house purchase through smoothly. I will be recommending them to anybody and everybody who needs a solicitor and will always use them going forward.
