I have recently updated my Will with Henrietta Brett of Burnett Barker. I found her to be very professional and pleasant to deal with. She came up with some good ideas and also signposted us to Government online forms re Lasting Power of Attorney which was helpful. Overall, the service offered was good value for money. I will be using Burnett Barker again.

Our Wills
Spoke to Henrietta Brett at Burnett Barker with regard to making our Wills. We were advised by Henrietta and she helped us with any queries we had very quickly. Everyone was very helpful and friendly and I would certainly recommend their services.

Preparation of Will and Lasting Power of Attorney
I set up an LPA and Will with a different Solicitor in 2017 but he retired without warning soon afterwards. I was worried. I consulted Burnett Barker for a review of the LPA and to redraft a new Will. I had a very helpful discussion with Mrs Brett. All the details were explained fully and clearly and were easy to understand. I am feeling so relieved and reassured. Thank you so much.

Helping with the estate of my father
We didn't need grant of probate, but I wanted a solicitor to guide us through the process. I was wary how much this would cost, but I thought the total was very fair, especially considering all the questions I emailed! Henrietta was diligent and kind throughout, as well as Jane McIlroy.

Will appointments
It was an absolute pleasure to have our Will discussions with Henrietta & Tracey. Henrietta is very knowledgeable and could answer all of our questions with ease and reassure us. There wasn't any awkwardness. It was all kept in simple terms. Tracey was ver helpful and patient on the telephone. They were both very professional at all times but always very friendly and approachable. I would definitely recommend.

Highly recommended probate lawyer with a fabulous assistant.
Henrietta Brett and her assistant Jane are a fabulous team. When our mother died rather suddenly none of us had any experience of probate or adminstering an estate. We arranged a free chat with Henrietta to see if she could help us; reassured by how approachable, informative and capable she seemed, we decided to hire her. I'm sure this is an extremely stressful process for everyone, but for us there were extra complications. Henrietta and Jane completely understood our situation, and dealt with everything in an exceptionally calm, professional manner, whilst being truly human and friendly at the same time. Between them they made a difficult time slightly easier, and we are very grateful to both of them.
