James Cooper represented me on a complex employment case, and he was simply excellent. He couldn't do enough and was very generous with his time. I was quite hands on and this was not an issue for James who was more than happy to discuss any questions I had and sometimes in great detail, and to clarify any legal points I needed clarifying. Nothing was too much trouble for James and he went to every effort to bring my case to a successful conclusion. I felt we were working in partnership. Of significance to me was that while James gave his best and excellent advice, it was still my case. There was a respect between us which allowed us to discuss sometimes difficult points, and it worked. There was never any delay and direct communication/contact was timely.
James is an excellent solicitor and highly recommended. I received excellent representation and by extension from Thompsons. Without him, without Thompsons and without my union’s significant support, ‘I’ would not have been able bring this case to a successful conclusion. Thank you.

Using my former works union solicitors, I was allocated a solicitor from Thompsons. From the start Simon D offered great communication but also a listening ear to what the claim was about. He took a lot of details, often going over my words to ensure accurate notes. He advised of the procedure. He was excellent throughout. There were a few times when I had to chase and nudge a little, but this is common in long drawn-out matters. He supported me throughout the 6+ year claim and i am grateful for his help and support. He secured me a relatively good payout and ensured that i received all paperwork that would help my tricky situation.

Firstly a huge Thank You to Lyndsay Gibbons and everyone involved with my case for the knowledge, professionalism & care throughout. It was a very complex case but I was always kept upto date with progress aswell as her being there for me if I had any questions or needed advice. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Thomsons solicitors to anyone if needed. She fought for a great outcome for me and I will be forever grateful and feel I can now move on with my life and look to the future.

I can’t thank Thompsons enough for all their hard work and effort over the last 18 month. Not only did they get me compensation for an accident (no fault of my own) but they helped me get my health back on track by putting Medicess in charge of my medical needs (thank you Simone).
I’d just like to thank Gary Tierney, Emma Garland and Emma Whysall (and anyone else that worked on my case) for doing everything to help me get my life back on track. I’ll be forever grateful. You are all brilliant and amazing.
