Oakwood Solicitors wrote a joint will for me and my partner. It was much cheaper than we thought it would be. The process was straight forward and Charlotte and Katherine were a pleasure to deal with. Even the staff on reception were polite, courteous and friendly! Would highly recommend!

Oakwood solicitors offered exceptional, friendly, polite and professional service to me. Business was conducted in a timely manor in spite of lockdown, and nothing was too much trouble, guiding me through the process via email, telephone and mail with everything highlighted and tabbed with explanations to make it as straightforward as possible. They will definitely be my go to solicitors for any legal needs going forward, and I have no hesitation in recommending them to friends and family.

Long story short I claimed against my company, then retracted it and took a settlement... Oakwood helped me through the whole process. Not only was they professional though this time and advised in the best way they could, but when I over payed the without realising... They rang me up and told me a month later and refunded me in full! BONUS! couldn't recommend them more! A*** service! Thank you OakWood!

Got the result required from an open and shut flight delay claim that really required minimum legal skill. They defeated the purpose of using representation however, which in my case was convenience. They required countless pressing to get anything done, needlessly made repreat requests for time consuming forms and authorities when already provided, and changed case managers no less than 3 times in the space of less than 6 months. Their fees for this case didn't represent value for money, given the little work and skill involved (exclusively handled by paralegals and admin staff) and the amount of client time wasted. Communication was also very poor, with zero attempt made to keep me informed of progress and made poor excuses when pressed on this issue. Had I not chased them on a number of occasions, this case would likely have sat with them for years. Not recommended.

An absolute bad firm. They are more shady than second-hand car salesmen. For around 2 years they messed me around.
Promising anywhere between £20,000 - £100,000 for a huge neglect case against the NHS and a separate case against my old work company.
Both of which turned out to be a wild goose chase, where the Oakwood underqualified "solicitors" would make excuses for delays, and blatantly ignore phone calls and emails.
They are snakes in suits. Do not trust them or you will have your time wasted too. Clearly all of the fake positive reviews are done by the company itself. It is common practice these days.
Just focus on the negative reviews because they are the only truthful ones. Avoid this place like you would avoid a rodent.
