Terrible firm. Please avoid

We’ve had the worst experience with the firm, and are still waiting for our issue to be resolved, even after the solicitor who was dealing with our case, Mohammed Loonat, admitted his mistake and said he would rectify it. I’m still waiting 2 months after this phone call- I have emailed him over 5 times since, and he has not had the decency to reply. He was completely unprofessional on the phone and has not since strung two sentences together to write a reply. I’ve asked for their complaint departments details 6 times, and I’ve not had a response. I have cc’d in the senior team including Anis and Justin, and no one has looked into resolving this matter. Please avoid them. I’ve been going through this headache for the past 1 and half years, and only 2 months ago Loonat said he would resolve it, but still hasnt. It has been extremely stressful, and I am failing to understand why, after the complete incompetence of Loonat, they are not wanting to resolve my issue asap. I am now seeking legal action to sue this firm. Again, please avoid them. There are multiple reviews on google saying a similar thing to me. I wish I had read these before.

In the middle of the process - constantly left in the dark

I am still in the middle of the first property purchasing. The case handler constantly ignores the emails from my financial adviser and myself with others within the company apologizing and asking the handler for an update. Whenever trying to give him a call he is 'currently unavailable'.
We've started in April. It's nearly four weeks that I didn't get any update. I have no idea what has been done so far, and what's left to do..

I am so disappointed with XYZ if I could rate zero stars I would

They took my deposit to represent me, selling a house. I had to complete paperwork via phone, which seems very unprofessional and time-consuming . I then received one paragraph saying they wouldn't represent me , no explanation, and as an afterthought, they sent me another one paragraph email saying they would refund my deposit.

I have emailed asking for an explanation, requesting details, and after almost 4 weeks, I am still waiting for an explanation and my money back

I am grateful these clowns 🤡 aren't representing me. I feel I've had a lucky escape

My daughter was recommended to Louise Pugh by her Mortgage Advisor. I have had several house purchases and sales over the years , never used the same solicitor twice , but can highly recommend Louise and will certainly use her myself should the need arise.
Her communication with my daughter was swift and accurate, she set her expectations , looked after her legal needs as well as being a huge emotional support with her understanding of the whole picture following a relationship breakdown and the need to transfer and buy back equity in my daughters house.
Highly recommend Louise.

I cannot speak more highly of Francis-Lloyd who was the acting solicitor for our client, who was purchasing a rental property. Francis was recommended to us by an estate agent, after we had issues with another solicitor firm that had been acting for our clients. Francis acted promptly in getting the case transferred over to XYZ Law, and worked outside of normal business hours that very same day to ensure he could progress the case as quickly and efficiently as possible to get the relevant documents sent out to the client that night.
Just as we thought we were finally there, 2 days before completion, the budget was announced which impacted our clients and could have been costly to them. I rang through to Francis panicking, however he was already on with sorting the matter to ensure our clients were not impacted.
As a mortgage broker, I deal with quite a number of solicitors/firms on a daily basis and I have found Francis to be one of the best. He was always on hand to answer my emails/calls and I am very impressed with how efficient he has been.
After speaking with our mutual client, they have also been speaking highly of Francis.

From the start with a 2 week delay caused by the app not working properly.

Reactionary communication and issues that could have been spotted far sooner.

Never made to feel like my sale was a priority. Currently approaching 5 months on a no chain sale.
