Awful, awful, awful

Much like others have said this company causes more stress than the original ‘no fault’ accident. I was the victim and I have been relentlessly harassed by this company more than a year after the event. Including telephone calls at 7am!! have been asked for more personal information than I had to provide for credit to buy the car!! Please report to ombudsman and your insurers. This company needs to be shut down.

Appalling service

We have had the unfortunate experience of Winn solicitors acting on our behalf for an RTA through our insurance company Marshmallow we had a phone call the next day from Winn solicitors telling me they were representing us with the claim and if any other company contacted us explain they were already acting on our behalf very efficient I thought this was the 18th August 2024 we were then given a case handler Nicole Joyce to process the claim
In brief it’s worst experience I’ve had I never have contact unless I call and then calls are not returned along with 24 emails in January 2025 requesting an update and 64 emails to date from August to January
3rd party admitted liability in October 2024 and still no payment or timeframe for payment
Avoid this company at all costs the call centre will never put you through to any senior management person and when I requested the complaints procedure 3 times I eventually got it
Very unprofessional company do not USE

Scammers,liars and try to get your bank details,bully for information.

I was hit by another driver that admitted fault and everything was fine until Chris Swanson would keep calling and send me links and asking for all my bank details and when asked why,it was it’s all normal protocol incase it goes to court so I’m like it won’t go to court because she admitted liability then it got worse and wanted to see every account and know everything about me and this is just so they know how much they can take you for,I was then asked for my sort code and account number for my current account even though they have all my statements and now asked for my 3 years tax returns again y!!!! Just to see what they can take me for.so I said let me speak to your manager and I was told she was busy for 24-48 hours and now 30 hours later I have been threatened of having to pay 13 thousand pound if I don’t gove them all the info they ask for within 24 hours,the damage was maximum £1500 and oh and aparently a 28 day hire charge is 8000 pound,absolute bully’s!!!

What can I say. The first 2 weeks after my car accident (non-fault) Winns were amazing. Quickly sorting everything. Once that 2 weeks cooling off period passed WOW. My eyes were opened to the absolute shambles of Winns.
Since then, I have had to handle my own case, calling for updates, getting documents to send to medical experts, and more recently involving a legal ombudsman when a complaint was disregarded.
Winns sent me a timeline of work completed by them in response to my complaint. Imagine the shock that most of the timeline was what I HAD DONE. They had admitted neglecting the case for around 3 months and offered £100 compensation. I declined and took it to the legal ombudsman.
After over 2 years of waiting for progress, I was still waiting for a pain specialist appointment. I was advised they had no idea how long this would take.
I have grown so sick of Winns I have instructed them to settle asap, which means I will not receive the payout for the long term injuries I have. And to let the Legal Ombudsman deal with the rest.
However....
Despite them not having received compensation. They have marked my file as compensation received (I have proof of this) Which now stops me being supported from the ombudsman as it looks to them the case has closed, meaning I have nothing, with no legal support.
AVOID WINNS!!

I now expect Winns to call me frantically wanting this review removed.

They harass you daily for medical records and bank details then after a year or so ask you for more info then state they fight it in court but have to prove you could not afford the hire car. I could afford the hire but through my insurance it was free the accident wasn't my fault. The other driver addmitted fault, therefore I shouldnt be liable for costs. Avoid this company and go through your insurance company!

Winns were appointed by our insurer and constantly failed to provide a service other than to benefit themselves. The communciation si woeful and the staff cannot answer simpel questions and usually avoid them. I ahve amde a complaint to the company and tehy eeven responded with a false statement to prove their incompetence.
only interested in profiteeringa dn not the customer. Abuse of a priviledged position to claim what tehy want.
