Very poor experience with conveyancing. Very slow, failed to explain things properly, and when I needed their help after completion with matters concerning service charges not mentioned in my contract and transferring of the freehold, completely ignored my inquiries.

We were dealing with Louise Kerr who was recommended to us we found Louise very helpful and very polite 😀 there was nothing she didn't do to try and get things done more quickly to purchase our new house 😀. There were things that went wrong but not down to Louise. Well done Louise .Fairhurst Menuhin are lucky to have someone like you working for them.

Asked this firm to do a very simple Land Registry transfer and signed an engagement agreement to this effect. No progress after six weeks and then when I chased them I received a letter saying they were not going to do the agreed work after all. No explanation given in the letter or to my follow up request. Six weeks wasted.

I was given their number by a friend and happily called to represent me for building Managing Agent issue. I didn't receive a reply. I call all week leaving messages every day. I also e mailed them to see what happened but not a single reply. Useless! I'm glad I found this out before paying any money.
I am going to bill them for the time I spent trying to chase them up! My time is worth a simple answer /call to say they can't take my case.

I recently used this solicitors for purchasing a house.
The team were absolutely fabulous.
We had Louise acting on our behalf and myself and my partner could not fault her.
She went the extra mile always.
The communication and constant advice from them was done perfect for us as 1st time buyers.
The teams professional friendly always able to help with any queries helped us and put our minds at rest.
The fees were very reasonable for the amount of working hours that had to be put in and the process of buying our house.
The format of the invoice was broken down well and very easy to understand.
We would definitely use these solicitors again if required as they have the right ethics and great customer care service.
