I engaged wit them because I found out my mum died, and my sister was the executor. I knew my sister wouldn't pay me. 6 months later, they did nothing unless I chased, and found out nothing I didn't already know from right move (ie, house for sale). gave my sister 6 months to do what she liked as executor, they just fell for fobbing off excuses fro the extracting solicitor. I have told them NEVER CONTACT ME AGAIN.

We were first time buyers and expected to be guided through the process. Instead, it was always up to us to figure out what the next steps were and check this with Hutsby Mees which meant we almost missed some key steps and deadlines. Cold over email and patronising over the phone - making us feel silly for asking questions. Always up to us to chase for information making the whole process more stressful than it needed to be.

Overall a poor experience in a difficult time (probate). The service was slow with little to no updates without chasing. Further to this, errors made by the solicitor which cost us a significant amount of money due to being ill advised. Questions via email were ignored, and I got the impression the solicitor in question did not have the necessary knowledge/experience to perform the task at hand.
