I was arrested back in December in what was a very stressful and scary experience for myself. It was my first time ever being in a situation like that and it’s fair to say I was very emotionally overwhelmed in the situation. I felt totally alone and terrified. I was then notified by Hamzah Shah that I would receive legal representation from himself and Shah Hague solicitors. His presence immediately brought me some calm and confidence. He explained the situation honestly and in a very clear manner - one that I understood which was extremely important. He helped me get through the interview and again explained all the steps which would come after. Throughout the process he remained extremely calming and professional but also acted like a friend in that period which I really needed. I really couldn’t recommend Hamzah enough. Since I was released I have had regular contact from both Hamzah and Michelle Douglas about their efforts to support me and find out information. On the 12th of January I was given an outcome on the incident which I was satisfied with but I 100% would not have received this outcome if it wasn’t for the support from Hamzah on the night I spent in custody. Hi Guys, brief narrative of my story:
My driving licence was revoked due to failing to attend court. I was given 8 penalty points and a large fine. As my driving licence was less than 2 years old - my licence was revoked. As a newly opened business owner, losing my licence was the worst possible result for me.
