Fantastic quick conveyancing

Used Clarkes for the conveyancing of our first house purchase. Clarkes were recommended by the estate agent, and helped process a quick purchase with a turnaround of less than 8 weeks. They had excellent communication, helpful for our first-time buyer questions, and had a very reasonable price. Would recommend heartily and would use again.

I wanted to drop you a line to say how impressed I was.

Today I rang your office to ask for assistance with regards deeds. The lady I spoke to, sorry I did not take a note of her name, was so kind and helpful and even though you could not help led me to where I should try next. I am aware people are quick to complain when things are not right so I wanted to drop you a line to say how impressed I was.

Professional, helpful and considerate

Perhaps like me you dread moving and single most stressful part is one’s relationship with solicitors my experience with Clarkes has been fantastic. They kept me informed every step of the way with emails, and when needed personal phone calls. They checked everything out with me all the time to make sure I was happy. The time live from instructing them to completion was about 12 weeks - and it my view they were reasonably priced with fees clearly laid out for the client. Huge thanks to Eriandeep and shavaughn for all their help and support.

Family team - Nikki Pickering

I have had a very long, incredibly difficult family law case. Nikki has been the epitome of everything I could have hoped my solicitor would be. She is incredibly supportive and is not afraid to be brutally honest with me also which is required. From the bottom of my heart. Thank you for understanding and standing with me in my most difficult time.

Don't use these or at least I hope you get someone other than who I got....RG (see below)

Had a terrible experience with these. They just don't care about individual humans! I tried really hard to be helpful with information. Court day (when I eventually got to the right Court - my Solicitor sent me to the wrong Court in the wrong town!) was a nightmare where I was brow-beaten into signing a divorce settlement that I was really unhappy with (a third of joint assets). And I am still waiting for my tiny amount £ from the family home (after a 17 year relationship, more than half of which was a married one)! Since Court day, there has been a 10 year wait for me, 2 years left to wait! So I can't move on... Solicitors are just a self-perpetuating body and no legally trained person in their right mind would consider my settlement to have been fair!
The thing that really irks is MY Solicitor spending an hour with my ex-husband (the other party) in a room alone without my being present despite my protestations to an usher. Whatever was said caused him to change allegiance. ** I am eventually due 13.5% of our family home. Can you believe it????

Excellent service

Ben has recently dealt with the sale and purchase of a property on my behalf and I would definitely recommend him to others. It was refreshing to be able to deal directly with the same person and to feel that my transaction was being dealt with competently. It wasn’t a straightforward transaction however I did have faith in Ben’s ability and felt that I was kept fully informed regarding progress to achieve a favourable outcome. In terms of fees, Clarkes had a clear price structure and turned out to be as, if not more, competitive than some online firms.
