Eloise was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process of our house sale and purchase. We had regular communication from Eloise, and she really pushed the process along when the chain was lacking due to other parties.

We needed to have our wills updated. For us it was a difficult and complicated issue. But it was made much easier by our solicitor, Eloise Llewellin. She listened, explained the procedure, advised when we asked about some of the certain concerns we had. Overall, the phone calls, emails and face to face appointments were professional but friendly. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Hains & Lewis.

My family has been badly let down by the Firm. We were not adequately advised of the risks and consequences involved in a sensitive matter involving an infant, which led to all kinds of problems. An investigator at the Legal Ombudsman deemed that the service we received was not reasonable in several aspects, and recommended that the Firm refund a percentage of our fees and pay some compensation for distress caused. The Firm agreed to do this, but we have never received an apology.

From beginning to end, it was a pleasure dealing with Eloise and Lucy.
The purchase of a property is often fraught with issues and timings, but this was a seamless procedure which was down in no small measure to their attention and professionalism.

My experience of Haynes and Lewis solicitors specifically Ben Tuck has been excellent. Ben has kept me informed throughout the process and has helped me when I’ve needed it. I’ve come to a satisfactory conclusion and cannot thank them enough, everyone involved. They’d have been there for me if I’d have wished to pursue further and cannot thank them enough. Hains & Lewis was established in May 1996 following the merger of the practices of Victoria Hains and Daniel Lewis. Prior to the merger Vicki had practised as a sole practitioner since 1991 and Dan since 1994. Previously, both had been partners in solicitors’ firms, in Pembrokeshire and in London, respectively.
