Take money and don’t care.

Was dealt with for 2 years by Cathrine Webster, only met her once in person despise asking for meetings, she would send an email “please send me your side” and literally typed them into legal documents.. No advice, no asking me questions about anything, no advice on next steps.. Literally Charged me £35,000 to put my documents in legal form and offered nothing else.

When i did ask questions, Cathrine rather didn’t reply, or had someone else reply with a none answer.

If you are going to family court, PLEASE avoid.

i wouldn't even give them one star

i had legal aid for my family court matter and me going through parent alienation, catherine webster was my solicitor. lazy and couldn't care less. she would cancel last minute just before court literally on that day using replacements who also couldn't care less and knew nothing about my case. thanks to them i lost my child. i would have been better of representing myself. they actually sided with the opposing side when they were supposed to represent me leaving me shocked and causing deep emotional distress especially them knowing the opposing side is manipulative and is a liar. catherine webster knew this because i provided her with evidence which they also ignored and didn't use any evidence i provided them in court that would have made a great help to my case. opposing party broke the last court order and they didn't mention it in court that also would have helped my case a great deal and hes now doing it again because he got away with it thanks topinkney grunwells not taking me seriously an being lazy, highly recommend anyone to avoid pinkney grunwells

1 star is too much

We used PG for my father's estate as they were his solicitors. I would advise anyone never to use them, as the numerous mistakes are too many to write down. They were completely inadequate with numerous mistakes and casual sloppiness in the way they handled the estate. To add insult to injury, they charged 66% more than their estimate, and charged extra for services which we had expected to be included in their estimate. Then they held back a considerable amount of the monies due and would not pay out unless we agreed with their bill.

Very disappointing, spending thousands with them no issues resolved after seven months. Left in a mess, i had to go to different firm of solicitors who solved all my problems in short time at much lower cost.

Exasperation, Intimidation and Frustration reigns

My experience with the Wills and Probate department Bridlington branch of Pinkney Grunwells (PG) is one of exasperation, intimidation and frustration.

Without going into specifics, the amount of time they take to make basic decisions and fulfil the requirements of Probate in a timely fashion is ridiculous, especially when dealing with Sarah Gilbert.

I have successfully had Pinkney Grunwells renounce (give up their executorship) of my mother's Will and Probate in favour of a competent firm of Solicitors who completed it within the expected time frame.

These glowing reviews on here do not reflect my experience with this firm. I not only find them to be slow in making the simplest of decisions but also unprofessional, and as a District Judge once said of Pinkney Grunwells in court, they do not seem to understand the basic principles of Probate.

In my opinion and experience, Pinkney Grunwells are very slow to action and also an intimidating firm of Solicitors, especially towards pensioners.

I definitely DO NOT recommend Pinkney Grunwells to write your Will or do your Probate.

Outstanding Service from Pinkney Grunwells Lawyers LLP

We recently had the pleasure of working with Stephen Baker at Pinkney Grunwells for the sale and purchase of our homes in Driffield, and we are thrilled with the level of service provided.

Stephen was consistently communicative, keeping us informed at every step. He, along with Anthony, Maureen, and Manda, were always available to answer our questions. Their professionalism and expertise were evident throughout the process, and they handled every issue with grace and efficiency. Stephen’s personal touch, including his proactive updates and attention to detail, made all the difference.

We are grateful to the whole team for making the process smooth and largely stress-free, resulting in the successful sale and purchase of our homes within the expected timeline.

We highly recommend Pinkney Grunwells Lawyers to anyone seeking a dedicated, friendly, and knowledgeable solicitor. Thank you, team Pinkney!
