Sales of our Cottage at the Yorkshire Dales

I would like to share our experience with Ben Cauldwell of Newtons Solicitors throughout the sales process of our cottage at the Dales. We are extremely happy and pleased with the quality of service and advice offered by Ben Cauldwell. He proved to be highly professional and honest. In addition, he was vert friendly and explained every single step during our dealing with him. We are also very happy with his Secretary, Christine Langthorp, for her dedication and assistance during the absence of Ben. We strongly recommend Newtons Solicitors and in particular Ben Cauldwell.

Far too often we only write, especially to Solicitors to complain!. I also felt compelled to leave a review on Trustpilot about your Emma Wray. My wife and I recently moved from Darlington to Lancashire and Emma handled the conveyancing. Emma immediately filled us both with confidence with her knowledgeable, friendly nature. We found our new property four weeks after selling our house. Emma not only 'caught up' with the sale but, also saved us time and money by not having to port our mortgage. The vendors Solicitors were awful and I believe that without Emma's intervention and professionalism, we wouldn't be in our new house now, never mind last week. It's been a tricky and difficult year for us all and Emma made the move as uncomplicated as possible, she kept us fully informed at all times, worked above and beyond what was required and contacted us in the evenings and over a weekend on one occasion. I couldn't recommend Emma and therefore Newtons highly enough to any of my friends. Many thanks on a top job, carried out by somebody who actually cares about her clients. A refreshing change! I was recommended Newtons by a friend to assist me with my Divorce. It was a particularly hard time for me made much more difficult by my Ex Husband. Newtons really fought my corner, they took the time to explain everything to me and their kindness and support extended well beyond my expectations. I'm not sure how I would of got through it without them.

With little knowledge of property purchasing and the legalities attached I decided to try Newtons Solicitors as they were local for me and within walking distance if they required any documents quickly. I was given a fixed price which was very reasonable and that was it, everything moved very swiftly and communication was excellent. The paraleagle at Durham (Lyndsay) was very efficient and approachable and overall very knowledgeable, answering any question I might have, and she always answered the telephone (which I much prefer to online communications) I would not hesitate to use Newtons again and would give them 10/10.
