Made a land purchase through H & S in July 2023, still not received land registry title, had the misfortune to deal with Amanda, very difficult to contact, wouldn't reply to emails, continuously made mistakes on all documents sent. Paid all fees up front, even made a complaint to Richard Hewitt, asking for redress, which I never received a satisfactory response from. You are better off taking a gamble on the internet.

Thank you Claire for a super job on our sale and purchase. We found that your attention to detail in terms of the legal conveyancing and customer service were what one would expect of the Hayes and Storr tradition. We have no hesitation in recommending Hayes and Storr and in particular Claire Burns for her hard work and reliability coupled with her professional knowledge made this a smooth transaction.

Failed to advise of the new legal requirement to submit a CGT Return within 60 days. Cost me £1700 in fines. Hid behind 'no tax advice' small print. But this was not tax advice. It was legal advice.

We used Hayes and storr while purchasing our first property after being given notice on the rented property we were in already. Mel was brilliant, very efficient and continously kept on top of chasing a rather slow solicitor on our puchasers side to ensure this sale went through before we were made homeless with two young children. For that we will be forever grateful and will.certainly use them again in the future.

We received an absolutely fantastic service from Mel & Polly during our house move. They made this part of the process so much easier and stress free, which we cannot thank them enough for. They kept us fully updated throughout and whenever we had a question it was promptly responded to in a clear and understandable manner.
We cannot recommend Hayes + Storr highly enough! And whilst we don't plan to move for a least 10 years now - we will be sure to be in touch with them when the time comes to move again.

As a first time buyer I was so pleased with the service we received in buying our first home. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were friendly and efficient. We did have cheaper quotes from "online firms" but you definitely get what you pay for and we saw the benefits of instructing a local firm.
