A Solicitor firm that I will recommend and use in the future. They were so fast and efficient in dealing with my enquiry that it has encouraged me to change from my old Solicitor firm whom I might add couldn't fit in my simple request to witness signatures.

Kayleigh supported myself and my wife in purchasing a flat for my wife's father. Her service was remarkable. She was responsive, succinct, energetic and enthusiastic. She made the process extremely easy for us and she provided wise counsel at every step of the way. I have been in the legal business for 25 years and she was one of the finest lawyers I have dealt with. A great asset to the Law Firm Group!

TLFG intervened on my behalf with British Airways on a travel claim. After 3 months, BA refused to acknowledge they has lost my golf equipment, bags, clothes etc on the flight back from Jersey.
Aviva stated they would not pay the claim until BA declared the equipment lost. The pressure from TLFG worked and Aviva promptly paid. BA should hang their collective heads in shame as it has taken 5 months for this matter to finalise.

We used his firm for a commercial property lease and sale. The original lease document has been lost! The sale was delayed by the first solictor to a point where the sale almost fell through and then on sale funds were not paid to the agent as made out and were withheld by the compliance partner for fees that were not justified or agreed. We then complained to the Senior partner Charles Long who does not seem to care in the least - no meaningful reply to our compliant and no apology. We are now forced to refer to the LO and potentially the SRA (depending on findings) and make a claim in respect of the lost lease which we require in a claim for unpaid rent.
Overall - DO NOT USE THS FIRM especially if client monies are to be held by them. It has no leadership and we found it unscrupulous and and the carefree and careless culture pervades from the top down. There are far less expensive and more competent firms.

Have been waiting for official confirmation (almost 4 weeks) for the Hitchin branch to confirm they are in possession of my legal documents which the Law Firm Group transferred from Chamberlin's Solictors of Hitchin earlier this year. After sending several emails over the last few weeks, I finally received a reply today (5/8/21). Absolutely appalling.

I was very pleased to collaborate with Charles Long and his team on my employment redundancy case, in October 2020. I found it easy and straightforward to get in touch with them and obtain an appointment and I've been thoroughly explained everything on the case and benefited from great professional advice, in a format easy to understand for a non legal audience. I was able to close the loop with my employer within 24 hours due to Charles's promptness , flexibility and professionalism. I highly recommend The Law Firm Group for anyone in need.

Was really helpful for my first appointment. When I then needed them to proceed further with my case I couldn't get in touch with Charles?? Really odd, I sent 3 emails and 8 calls? When speaking with someone on reception, I explained this and she assured me i would get a call back, nothing!

Having lost Mum during lockdown we were completely at sea as to how to deal with her estate. Through word of mouth we instructed The Law Firm Group.
Charles Long and his team were superb. He and his team used language we all understood, without any stuffiness and in a relaxed and easy way.
The costing was simple to understand and completely reasonable.
We consider them ‘our solicitors’ now. I would recommend anybody else to do the same.
