I was facing a very stressful situation with my landlord after our tenancy ended. He refused to return our deposit of £1,100 and even sent us an invoice requesting an additional £980 after deducting the deposit. This felt incredibly unfair, especially since we had never missed a rent payment and had cleaned the property thoroughly.
