Alistair Ford dealt with our house sales on two occasions and we found him thorough and happy to answer any queries we had.

Beyond useless. Avoid

Cockshott Peck Lewis held a copy of my mother’s Lasting Power of Attorney. My sister and I asked them to send us a certified copy of it back in July and 5 months later they are no closer to getting the job done. Firstly they sent us a copy without checking whether or not it had been registered (it hadn’t), then they sent incomplete documents to the Office of the Public Guardian and now they’ve sent incomplete documents to us.

We’ve had to keep chasing to get any information out of them and they take weeks to do even the simplest jobs. At no point have they apologised.

If they can’t do a simple job properly I certainly wouldn’t trust them to do anything complicated. Don’t touch this firm with a barge pole...
