My Uncle died in Aug 21 and here we are in Oct 24 and they have still not fully sorted the estate. over 12 months late sorting inheritance tax resulting in HMRC applying interest. 2 years to get probate, cocked up figures e.g. £130 for the funeral when it was £1300 and incorrectly included a property that was in trust when calculating the charity donation. Cocked up title deeds twice and one went from Absolute to Possessory then refused to correct their mistake, luckily my own solicitor (Sills & Betteridge) was able to sort. Now they are ignoring me, but I still have a property that needs transferring into my name.
