Engaged this firm to support me through family arrangements. I was under time pressure and so unable to review market.
Only seemed to be interested in taking on more work and started processing financial arrangements before child arrangements settled. Didn’t provide option for this to be left to mediation.
I never spoke with or was introduced to the solicitor that was supervising my case. Only ever dealt with a trainee paralegal.
Trainee paralegal that handled my case lacked competence and experience to deal with a neurodivergent client. They complained about volume of information I sent but provided no constructive suggestions on how to manage this better.
Misrepresented me in court documents including accepting submission of a very biased chronology without any objection.
Kept me in the dark about what was actually submitted on my behalf. Only seeing the multiple errors and lack of attention detail because I am now litigating in person
Only realised now that this firm gave very poor advice from the outset. If you are a survivor of domestic abuse, you don’t need a MIAM certificate to submit a C100.

After using another solicitor that two years ,cost £3000 to sort out a land registry title issue only to then discover they could not resolve the problem…ItWas a real pleasure to find davisonlaw office literally on our door step and generally very good reviews .
I would like to add my positive review of this company and there professional staff at all levels from front desk to back room conveyancing people they surpassed my expectations and provided a first class service both in our house sale and the land title issues . All staff should be proud of themselves .

Quite shocked by all the positive reviews when our experience has been nothing but negative if I’m honest. We could never get through to our solicitor Marcus, there was always a reason either on holiday/lunch/meetings/not in the office which seemed to be every time I called it didn’t matter what time it was this was always one of the reasons. The amount of calls I made asking for a call back from our solicitor Marcus which either never happened or his secretary would call back even though on countless times we have asked to speak to the solicitor who we are paying for. Emails barely responded too which is why I would have to call up. I think I spoke to Marcus twice the whole process! I think I did most of the chasing between the solicitor and estate agents myself to actually get things moving. Unfortunately the house we were buying went into probate so we had to pull out I spoke to Marcus and the secretary Sophia about this then told them we had found a new property I then get a phone call asking if I’m buying 2 properties now as again no one seems to communicate or update files so we have now changed solicitors who seem to have done more in a day then this company did in a week. Constantly chasing no matter of urgency. Was given incorrect information also at the start regarding a payment told by one member of staff a payment was covered and sorted but then when we eventually got to speak to Marcus that was apparently wrong and they needed more money all they could say was sorry he’s told you incorrectly. I would avoid this company if you actually want to have contact with your solicitors!

Very disappointing and unprofessional performance.
I though this is a properly managed and trustworthy legal firm that can represent us professionally, but after working with the solicitor Ms Christine Salama we realised that what I thought was wrong.
I contacted the firm in July about a hearing in 26 September just to do a simple disclosure of documents and paid £800. Even that I paid her all her money in full more than 2 months before the hearing date, she sent the documents at the last day and didn't send it to the defendant according to the Court instructions. The Court instructions was clear that we should send all the documents to the defendant 14 days before the hearing date. This has lead for the hearing to be vacated and all our time was wasted and now I will have to follow another procedure to reschedule the hearing.
She failed to do a simple job and failed to do the work according to the Judge's instructions which has made the defendant to take advantage of her mistakes and caused the hearing to be vacated. I wouldn't have expected a fresh graduate student to make such a mistake especially that everything is clear in the Court's letter and written in English.

We finally got out house but it was an awful experience with our solicitor. She was rude, unapproachable and extremely difficult to get simple imformation. This is not how you treat a client.
We sent information which we was told it was recieved and reviewed. It was important information regarding our finances and affordability of the house. We got our mortgage sorted and After 3 weeks we was told the numbers were wrong and we required alot more money. We questioned our solicitor About the info we send and if they had reviewed when they said they had and she said NO COMMENT. We lost all trust in them.
Luckily we found a solution our selves with the help of the seller.
Twice we found completion statement figures wrong.
Overall the solicitor was rude and very unapproachable. I would not recommend.
I raised a complaint and still don't agree with the response, even when i showed evidence of the lie and defensive behavior the solicitor took to cover up a mess. She had my wife crying on our honeymoon. Stay clear.

The staff at Davisons Law Leamington Spa who have been excellent and professional. We purchased a property and received a thoroughly professional service and were always prompt and attentive. Absolutely brilliant throughout the process. Competing at 11:45 was a real bonus on the day of the move, this took so much pressure off. I think you would find it hard to beat the team at Davison’s, particular thanks to Hadiya & Emma.
