I recenty had the miss fortune of stepping over the line and spending some time in Police custody and receiving some criminal charges. I contacted LHD Solicitors whilst in custody who attended the custody suit to sit in on my interview. From this point LHD took over the process keeping me informed of all the developments up to my court case. The words that I would say to describe LHD Law are the following: Friendly , honest , great communications , pleasure to deal with and very professional.
So I would like to say Thanks to LHD Law and keep the great work up your a credit to the justice system

Highly recommended
I needed representation for a hearing in the magistrates so I did some research and LHD seemed to have the best reviews . I called them and they gave me a fixed price for it all without delay .
From start to finish it was a great , friendly and professional service , John is very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable , if I ever need a solicitor again it will be LHD every time , thanks again John and your team .

Poor representation
The duty of care shown to me throughout my dealings with LHD was shocking. The only thing they where efficient with was receipt of their payment. On the court day itself, this can only be described as a joke. I got 3 minutes to review my case with the solicitor assigned and the context behind it. No prior information had been passed on via the clerk at LHD. No review of my medical back ground was submitted nor mentioned in court . As this was my first ever court appearance I asked if I could meet with my solicitor prior to going to court. I was told “you don’t need to you’ll get sufficient time on the day”. My case hearing was at 10am, my solicitor showed up at 9:57. My case was looked at in what can only be described as a conveyor belt hap hazard way. Get me in, pay little attention, do no prior backgrounding and get me out asap. Another £480 in the bank. Job done. My advice, either represent yourself or go with someone else. Pathetic.

Awful. I was told by prisoners not to use these people but I thought they was working well. It became obvious at trial that there had been no preparation work done what's so ever for the trial. The evidence they missed was unreal. They mocked the clients family that were try to help. More work went into filling paperwork in for funding than defending the client. Of course they will say a client would be unhappy if they don't get the result they wanted. A recent examination of evidence shows the scale of the balls up they made. If they couldn't do the job they should of said so at the start rather than pretending. Always use a solicitor's from out side your area. This will help reduce the cooperation between the police and the duty solicitor of whom relies on so much work from the police.

LHD were extremely supportive and helpful during a recent unfortunate circumstance with a member of my family. I could not have wished for my family to be represented by a better firm. Outstanding personal communication and extremely helpful. Definitely recommend this firm.
