It was not about money but the behaviour of the solicitor was highly suspicious and unprofessional. It was clear from the behaviour that she did not want to take on the case at the beginning but denied it likely due to her interest in having access to personal documents rather than her interest in solving the case. Her approach was unbelievably demeaning. The cashier demanded a bank statement before she could refund me which was suspicious. She also remarked in front of the receptionist that the card I provided did not belong to me. When her other colleague verified the card and proved her mistake, she made no apology. This was disrespectful and undignified. to me as a client.
