Really impressed

Really pleased with the Will drafting that Toby Pilcher was able to provide to us. He made the process super easy given this was our first time drafting a Will. We would definitely use Toby and the wider Gisby Harrisons services again should we need them.

The rudest and most arrogant solicitor I have ever met.

I had the misfortune to attend this practice with my daughter to finalise her will, probably the most important legal document she will ever sign.
The solicitors first question to my daughter was “can you pay for this?”
The solicitor then spent less than a minute explaining the contents of the will and pulled a face when I said I wanted to read it myself.
Before my daughter signed the will I was asked to leave the room and my daughter was asked if she had been pressurised - the implication being by me - into making the will.
Throughout we were treated with contempt and rudeness. I have worked with solicitors for over 40 years and this was the most unprofessional experience I have ever experienced.

Reasonably priced and very responsive and helpful

Gisby Harrison handled our recent house sale & purchase. They were great from start to end, despite a not very straight forward sale/purchase and our buyers solicitors being a nightmare!

They were highly responsive and happy to jump on a call to explain things further when issues popped up. And, when our solicitor went on holiday for a week during the process, we were seamlessly handed over to his colleague, who was up to date on the sale and purchase and was able to help in his absence and kept everything moving forwards.

My only regret is that when I purchased my previous property I went with a different solicitor because they were very slightly cheaper. I think they were only around £100 cheaper, Gisby Harrison are still really reasonably priced. Comparing my previous experience with another solicitor to the experience I have had with Gisby Harrison, I definitely made a huge mistake not going with Gisby Harrison previously.

I highly recommend Gisby Harrison for conveyancing.

Sale of flat

My partner and I used this company to sell our by to let flat. Sarra Argyrou was our solicitor and we could not of had a better service. Everything was handled in a timely manner and Sarra kept us informed the whole time. It was not a straight forward sale as there was a lot of liaising with the freeholder and the management company, but Sarra dealt with all of this leaving us stress free. Thank you Harrison and Gisby but special thanks to Sarra. I would definitely recommend this company and Sarra.

VERY IMPRESSED WITH PARTNER, MIKE HORNSBY

Having been involved supporting a friend through a difficult Employment Law situation, this Firm/Partner was recommended for sign off.

Having been involved with several highly complex cases over a number of years, I was especially impressed by Mr. Hornsby’s level of detail, clarity, and advice.

Highly recommended.

Sarra Argyrou - Conveyancing

Sarra at Gisby Harrison is one of the best Solicitors around, she’s so knowledgeable, informative and so efficient. 2nd time I have used her and I would definitely use her again and again. When complications arose during my sale process she was encouraging and helpful to smooth the process making it as straightforward and as stress-free as possible. Also with technical terms, and the legal jargon, she is great at explaining in Plain English too, so I understood what it all means. I would not hesitate in recommending her to anyone. I’m grateful there are still professionals like her around.
