Solicitor quit on completion day

We had already had a lot of problems with our solicitor. He refused to respond to calls or emails, he gave empty promises of getting things done, he made us resend the same paperwork repeatedly. Then to top it off he quit on completion day. We were particularly annoyed with this, as we were not told straight away and felt we had to chase all day to still be able to complete in time. This then made problems with the removal company running out of time and us having to pay them extra and our buyers being unable to move in that day. Expensive for level of service received. Sunny was nice and helpful.
