Outstanding!

Used Holmes & Hills years ago for a house sale. Subsequently lost some paperwork this week and phoned up. Within 10 minutes I had the paperwork I needed. No fuss, just some security questions. Very helpful people. Highly recommended!

Thorough and responsive

As a lawyer myself, I had a clear understanding of what good looks like. Beth was responsive and efficient. My only gripe was the overly complex anti money laundering rules, that do. Or allow for judgement . This created an awful lot of work for both us and Beth. Not Beth’s fault , but air did make the whole transaction more stressful.

Having used Holmes & Hills several times I highly recommend them. The staff offer a professional service at a friendly informative level. Probate and conveyancing.

Following my late mothers death in April, I as executor, needed legal services to secure Grant of Probate, and conveyancing for the sale of the property. During both processes, I was kept informed of progress. Any questions I had were answered promptly. I am pleased to say the whole process, for both matters was seemlessly completed by 21/08/2024.

House sale

Tracy was exceptional and very professional, understanding and extremely helpful during a stressful 15 months. The fixed fee was really a good idea and very helpful to know what the costs would be.

Excellent service - Cannot thank you enough.

Charlotte provided an exemplary service from start to finish in my case. She remained professional at all times, but also supportive in making such an unpleasant experience much more bearable; she went above and beyond to ensure I reached a fair outcome. I believe I could not have reached such a positive outcome without her aid - Thank you.

How hard can it be.

My mother visited the offices a week before Christmas last year, to issue instructions to draft a UK will, really easy, nothing complicated, what could go wrong, well, it took over 3 months to even get a draft, that draft was wrong, she somehow had gained a grandchild. Email was sent, we are now another 2 months down the line and still not had a draft. They never return emails or calls, promised to call my mother last week to discuss, surprise surprise, nothing, we are now over 5 months in from initial meeting, yet still don’t even have a draft copy. I even called them on her behalf as I have power of attorney, regarding a query she had, nope, spoke to me like an idiot. What a shambles.
