Brilliant service,great communication

For my first property purchase, I am really pleased I used Jury O'Shea as my solicitor. They did a very thorough job, and kept me informed all the way through. I felt like I was in very good hands from the very beginning. Vivienne and Kerry have been brilliant at answering all my emails super promptly. I would not hesitate to use them again and would definitely recommend them.

Brighton branch fantastic service

As an overseas buyer, it was very difficult for me to understand the whole process of buying a property in Brighton. Lauren Fitzgerald and Kerry have always been there to answer my questions and advice me. The replay was almost instantly.
I had an unpleasant first experience with a seller and estate agent who were pressing me to buy a leasehold instead of freehold property. Lauren called me that day and talked to me as a friend rather than a client. She helped me make the right decision.
I found another property and we have just exchanged the contracts. She helped me for the second time.
Thank you Lauren. Thank you Kerry

Summary of a very pleasant experience

I can really recommend Lauren Fitzgerald and her team at Jury O’Shea. Lets face it, buying and selling your home can be your worst nightmare. During the last seven months, I have been let down by a delusional mother and daughter at the last minute, one hour prior to a survey being booked for my house. Lauren and her colleagues were there for me, and always talked to me as a friend, rather than a client.
Not long after that, my house sold again, and we have just exchanged. I couldn't have come this far without Lauren, no one liaises as quickly and efficiently as she does. Everyone is in the loop. If you email or call her or her colleagues, you have a reply almost instantly.
The fees are extremely reasonable. It is a total pleasure being a client at Jury O’Shea.

Outstanding service

I have used Lauren Fitzgerald and her team on a couple of occasions in the last 6 months and literally cannot fault them. Written communication was excellent, being clear and prompt but what really sets Lauren and the team apart is the fact they actually are happy to speak to you...not something you can say about many solicitors. Would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.
Thank you Lauren, Kerry and the team for all your efforts.... truly appreciated.

poor communications and lacks details and care

looking at the previous reviews, mainly high not sure why my experience wasn't that great. i have given an opportunity for the named partner to reply but doesn't seem bothered. here are the truthful events and examples; my lawyer i will leave nameless i expected better communications and have more attention to detail. takes days for him to response if he does, information is brief and doesn't explain things well, they had to use another lawyer for assistance, they sent me wrong documents and from another of their client, they uploaded wrong details regarding my title deed details. after service is even worse so am having issues with current place with defects, doesn't seem bothered to get involved or wanting to assist, am guessing once completion is done and got paid the service ends. but they forget about public reviews and future business opportunities. gave 1 star is because they were cheap.

Fantastic property lawyer

Naz is simply the best property lawyer in Sussex. She is no box ticker. She has an active, creative and first rate mind. Combined with plenty of common sense and first rate communication skills she is the perfect choice for anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

The house she helped us buy had been bought and sold twice in recent years but none of the solicitors previously involved had spotted that the legal ownership of part of the garden had not formally transferred to the first and subsequent buyers.

Naz was the first one to spot the problem and got that part of the garden transferred to us. It was particularly important as part of the house had since been built on this land.

I later used Naz on the sale of our previous home. She has also provided me with some free helpful advice on the purchase of my daughters property.

Supportive, thorough and professional. Highly recommend.

Lauren and her team helped us impeccably through two house purchases - one that fell through. We had a very difficult experience with a seller and estate agent who were bullying us to buy a property without a survey. Without Lauren and the team's professional advice and swift communication, we could have found ourselves in a bad way. They were always easy to contact and moved us quickly through the process. Recommend very very highly!
