Taken 9 months for these solicitors to prepare my sale and buy. The vendor also happened to have the same solicitors. Lack of communication and they just avoid all contact and emails. Never would I recommend such a group of unprofessional people

Cunningtons recently handled the conveyancing for a property sale on my behalf and I was extremely satisfied with their services. Everything went very smoothly, they kept me fully informed right through the process and responded very promptly to my enquiries. I have bought and sold property before with other solicitors and this was definitely a superior experience.

I have also recently had cause to use them for other matters and found them equally helpful and efficient.

slow, inefficient, unhelpful. problems from beginning to end. we were under major deadlines, they did absolutely nothing to expedite the process or help. Antiquated practices. Overall caused unnecessary headaches and stress. would never ever go near them again.

Smooth transaction for the sale of my property. Special thanks to Tamil, for being so efficient, proactive and approachable. Tamil kept me up to date regularly and was available for direct contact which was helpful to avoid stress. Would use again, and highly recommended. We had problems with a tenant refusing to pay rent and claiming an exterior leak rendered the property uninhabitable. Cunningtons provided us with reassuring and sensible guidance under quite stressful circumstances and were able to ensure all the rent due was finally paid. When the tenant made a court claim against us, Jon Stock represented us and secured a judgement that included our legal costs being re-imbursed by the tenant. His assistant, Kimberley, was also very helpful.

By far the worst solicitors I have ever used.

By far the worst solicitors I have ever used. Everyone is aware that buying/selling a home is stressful, but Cunningtons made it more stressful than I could ever imagine. They were rude, lacked ability to do what was needed accurately, non-responsive and slow. They couldn't even get our names correct on multiple legal documents and in order to get things across the line, I ended up having to proof check their work for them and write a letter asking them to copy and paste onto their letterhead and sign (because they couldn't figure it out themselves). I raised a complaint which wasn't handled correctly. Absolutely not the service anyone would expect to be acceptable and will be advising absolutely everyone to avoid.

This is my second time I have used Cunningtons at Chelmsford for house sale. They are an old established firm and the experience they have in the way they dealt with me was outstanding. At every corner of the transaction I was kept informed. I was able to contact them easily and if I left a message they promptly returned my calls. Unlike a lot of other solicitors they get on with the job. I would thoroughly recommend
