Excellent Service and Amazing Professionals

I would like to thank Ms. Anona Mair Williams for allocating me her extremely professional Solicitor Ms.Rhema Philip for my Financial Remedy case. Ms.Rhema Philip has great legal knowledge in Family Law and she was extremely professional in dealing with my case and especially dealing with the other party who was really messing up the case by not submitting proper documents. Rhema was checking every minute details in the documents and was correcting them. She also alerted the courts about the other party who was submitting fake financial documents and she wrote excellent position statements for every court hearing. Because of her strong position statements the Judge has seen through my case and provided the judgement in my favour in the second stage (FDR) itself, instead of going to the final stage.
I once again thank Mair Williams Solicitors firm and especially Solicitor Ms.Rhema Philip for your excellent support and services.
I would highly recommend Mair Williams Solicitors.

Terrible service!!

I went to this solicitor after a separation. They did nothing I asked them too. Sending unnecessary emails and then charging me for them. They didn't do what they said they were going to do and dragging the matter on so long in the end I had to tell them not to act on my behalf anymore. They would make money out of sending unnecessary emails but not actually doing what they said they were going to. Very unprofessional firm. I then asked for my bill and eventually got it...it was astronomical..... nothing had actually been done for this money except sending pointless emails. Asked several times for an amended bill!! Didn't get one. It was a very difficult time for me and my children after the separation made worse by greedy solicitors. They caused me and my family nothing but stress. I would not recommend them to anyone!!!

Ignores all communication, including official notifications from the Legal Ombudsman

I sought advice from Mair Williams in December 2015 but changed solicitors in September 2016 after filing an official complaint, sending numerous unanswered emails and not completing the work as agreed.

I made an official complaint to the Legal Ombudsman and was awarded compensation as well as the fees I'd paid to update my new solicitor. Ms Williams claimed I had an unpaid bill but hadn't send me a bill since February 2016, even though I'd requested a full and detailed breakdown in 5 different emails. My last communication from them stated I had a £0 balance!

The Ombudsman awarded in my favour and stated that 5 out of 6 complaints were poor practice and stated that Ms Williams pay the compensation, send me my detailed bill and my new solicitor the file of work. I am still waiting for this to be received and the Legal Ombudsman will take it further if no response is received by the end of the week.
