Excellent Service for Both Buying and Selling!

I have had an excellent experience working with Ella-Rose Sitch and Lucy Liney, both for the purchase of my first flat and now its sale. They were incredibly efficient, and approachable throughout both processes. Their communication was clear, timely, and always reassuring, which made the whole experience much less stressful. I very much appreciated their attention to detail and the care they took to ensure everything ran smoothly. Excellent Service ... again

We appointed Farnfields to do the conveyancing on the sale of our house in London, having already used them twice before (transfer of agricultural land from pension to personal ownership, purchase of a cottage in Wiltshire). Once again, Ingrid Hindle handled the transaction for us, including recovering all our costs on a prior abortive sale and then completing on an actual sale in double quick time (just 3 weeks from acceptance of offer through enquiries to exchange and completion). Ingrid and her team (shout out for Leah) were professional, prompt, proactive and a pleasure to deal with.

Mothers House Sale

Our Family have used Farnfields for many years now but this is the first time using the Shaftesbury office and I needed to sell my mothers house using my Power of Attorney so a new experience all round. I used Farnfields for conveyancing work and it was completed by Helen Phillips who was very thorough and delivered to a high standard; everything was as I expected from a premium firm of solicitors. I would provide 5 stars except for two issues: 1) My final bill was incorrectly reconciled and I had to highlight their error (I was overcharged by £100), and; 2) I was not advised that they would need to contact me by telephone on the day of completion for my final approval of the transaction. Had I known this I would not have left my phone on silent. It would have been sensible for Farnfields to inform me that I must be available on the morning of completion; had I not noticed the missed call the completion may not have been possible.
