Family law

Well where to begin ,
Lazy springs to mind my family law case was going on for 3 years through the courts . I felt like a burden all through the case when it came to asking questions and wanting things done baring in mind my emotions were running high due to the case it's self there wasn't any compassion more of a get over it vibe what will be will be . I would call I would get ignored at times by Tom Kilick I feel he was bored of my case or putting any effort into getting the best outcome I was also passed on to multiple solicitors during my family law proceedings which made the case confusing in the courts . I also feel due to my case being funded by legal aid that's why I wasn't given maximum effort AVOID this firm at all costs. ! I do not reccomend!

Taking advantage

My sister spent months trying to get my mothers passport back from these sharks as we needed the document to register with a gp. It was only when I complained on google review that we got a response. Within 7 days they posted the document to my sister
Probate has been dragging for 3 years. There is nothing more for them to manage as they were so dreadfulwe sold our faters house ourselves. My sister has emailed them and called asking for the case to be wound down and 18 grand owed to my mother to be returned. Tjat was three weeks ago. No emails or calls nothing from these sharks. My mother is 75 years old. If we dont stand up for her. Who will?

Friendly and Efficient

We recently had a dispute with our commercial landlord that required immediate action. After calling a few Solicitors in search of assistance, we were contacted by Helen at Jacobs and Reeves within an hour of leaving a message with her receptionist. This was far quicker than any other response and quite amazing when you consider the challenges Covid is causing at present.

Helen was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly as she took the time to investigate our case and discuss the possible actions we could take.

I really would recommend anyone in need of a solicitor within the Poole or Bournemouth area, give Jacobs and Reeves a call.

Excellent and reliable service!

We bought our first property in November and from the start of our purchase Ashleigh was so helpful, she was always on hand to answer all of our questions (we had a lot of questions!) she replied to all our emails, messages really quickly and explained everything thoroughly so we understood what was going on. She chased our estate agents when they weren’t getting back to us and just made the whole process as painless as possible. I would recommend Ashleigh and Jacob & Reeves to anyone as the whole experience was fairly painless! Thank you so much.

First time buyer conveyancing

Using Ashleigh at Jacobs and Reeves to carry out my conveyancing was faultless. I am a first time single buyer and so new to the protocol and procedures so the whole thing was very daunting to me. Gratefully no question was too much hassle and she was there every step of the way to assist and guide me. She was extremely thorough and persistent even when issues arose with the vendor creating an extremely pleasant and stress free experience stepping onto the property ladder. I highly recommend and will be using there services in the future.

Avoid

I used Jacobs and Reeves to jointly purchase a property with my now ex partner. I only found out when my relationship had broken down that I wasn't on the title deeds. Unfortunately I found out too late that the deeds only had my ex partners name on it. It ruined me financially. Avoid at costs.

Amendment: after my review on 21 May 2020 was posted a 5 star review was immediately posted by a Ashleigh Lydford. I am then contacted by this site as Jacobs and Reeves have asked permission for my contact details. I have refused as my claim against them is well documented and they simply need to refer to their files and to ask the solicitor on this transaction who conveniently is now retired.

Conveyancing

We have used Jacobs and Reeves on two occasions now for buying a property. The service was fantastic, we were talked through everything in a way we understood and everything happened in a timely manner. I would not hesitate to use Ashleigh Lydford at Jacobs and Reeves solicitors again, or recommend her to anyone else.

I tried to get my passport copy verified by them , but because i am no longer a "current" client , they were unable t help me,
In future , I will loook for a company that treats you better thanthis
