We have been dreading and avoiding making our wills for years unnecessarily. Hollie was very patient, understanding and addressed al of our questions and concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
The process was completed quickly and efficiently and the legal terminology was explained to ensure we understood.

Would recommend ....

We recently used Hewitts Solicitors Newton Aycliffe/Bishop Auckland and would highly recommend.
The solicitor who dealt with our case was Stephanie Wilson.
Stephanie is professional and knows her subject well, she is pleasant and her manner immediately put us at ease. Stephanie introduced herself, explained her role and the process and managed our expectations re timescale and cost.
We were kept updated by email at every stage until the paperwork was complete.
Many thanks

Do yourself a favour and get someone competent.

Supposed to help for a divorce from a controlling husband
NOT reliable
NOT helpful
And most of the time, out of the office, Useless.
Mistakes in documents, had to correct same document a couple of times myself.
They missed divorce final order application deadline, which could have cost me waiting more months to be able to get the divorce finalised.
I was tired of waiting and waiting on the solicitor, so i submitted the divorce final order as soon as this action became available MYSELF.
Would not use them again, more than disappointed with them and I'm NOT recommending them!!
Do yourself a favour and get someone competent.

Low quality legal representation.

My legal representation was very poor in court and could have been more proactive and forthright the solicitor failed to challenge the complainants lies and never covered any of the points raised before trial.
He let the complainants get off Scott free and I didn't feel he was acting in my best interest but assisting the CPS's case over mine,
And he was just following a prearrange outcome and end goal of the judges and cps rather than fighting my corner. Not the best legal representation i have ever had in court.
Resulting in a prosecution outcome and an expensive financial loss.
Will not be using again this firm for any legal work.
I followed his advice and it got no result, stated no longer do legal aid funding leaving my case high and dry .

A client

Helpful, Professional, Knowledgeable, a little difficult to find not knowing the area or building that said there is a separate wheelchair accessible entrance with a lift inside the building and if you use crutches there is quite a walk to the offices, so be aware. The office sign is quite small and easy to walk past. There are toilets and accessible toilets on the same floor. The office is on the first floor and all doors leading to the office are locked and opened by a member of staff, as you enter and exit. Once in the communal areas only the ground floor exit has a button to exit and intercom entrance.
